My most remembered part of the game was how annoying Nevan is and how Vergil is a crap aim sometimes.

Most remembered part? There are 3 for me: 1. When Dante boots his front door across the street. It's so damn funny! 2. When Dante jumped off the tower and killed all those demons... that was awesome. And 3: When he rode back UP the tower on Lady's motorbike, then totalled it. Just plain cool.

I liked pretty much the whole scene of when you first meet Jester.  I liked when killed the demons all the way down the tower and then rode back up with the bike.  And how could you forget when he rocked out on Nevan?

Hahahaha! I couldn’t stop laughing at that bit. Or the bit where he rides Lady’s rocket when she fires it at him at the end of Mission 3. Hell, when he first meets Cerberus he starts ripping the piss out of him. What a hilarious dude!

I also remembered (but not in a good way) his man–bra–looking gunstrap. Ridiculous.

Ok, I'm seeing some quotes of DMC up above. Keep the quotes in the favoriteDMCquotes thread. And the events in this thread.

Hmmmm.... honestly I say the whole game is memorable. lol If I had to choose then I would say when Vergil decides to stay in the demon world, Dante goes to catch him and he just cuts his palm and it shows Vergil vanish in the 'Pitch Black Void'. :O   2. The enire ending when Dante & Lady battle a few of the different Hell demons and Hell Vanguard when the credits are rollin'. And third maybe when Lady shoots Arkham.   The thing I like about that part is that it's not corny like all the movies are when the father is like "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO" and finally *bang*. I'm glad Lady just got it over with right away.  :)

To me, the finest moment was when the two sons of Sparda teamed up against Arkham at the end. I sat there, crying tears of awe...
Okay, not literally. But I was so amazed and excited. Haha sad...
The line "Jackpot" sent goosebumps down my spine! XD T'was so freakin' awesome.

The parting of the two brothers was memorable... I felt really sad about it. I also felt the same when Lady started crying after killing Arkham. TT-TT

And I don't think I'll ever get over my hatred of Nevan... ¬__¬

Why do people hate Nevan so much in particular?

I guess the music is what springs to mind mostly in my head, and the first mission.

For me it had to be when i first started the game up and and watched the opening movie of the brothers fighting, and then witnessing Vergil stabbing Dante

I was like, "ok if dante is dead who the h*ll am I playing as?" 

I agree with Beowolf that the whole game was good.But what really sticks with me is Vergil's relentless desire.Once he has an idea close to nothing will stop him. living souls are nothing but stepping stones for him.. Of course there's also Dante's carefree party hardy attitude.

I love his effeminate, nonchalant, laadeedaa walk after reaching the top of the tower!

What also strikes me as most remembered? The fact that Dante only kills like 3 bosses. The others simply carry on talking to him after he wins. The main thing that stayed in my mind about that consisted of the fact that you had to WIN against Mission 7’s Boss in order to LOSE in the story!
