Sons of Sparda Rules
- Spamming, trolling or flaming, this is basically posting nonsensical things, and really random things, and also trying to insult people in order to raise your post count. Trust me though it won't help, because as soon as a member of Staff sees that you are spamming, trolling, or flaming they will Delete your post. Which will in turn remove the number of posts they delete off your total post count.
- Threads, well basically one strict rule, and that would be for you not to post in a thread that you don't like. And don't post things such as "Why did you create this thread" because all that causes is Friction between the members and that is the last thing we want. Also, we will have no threads in which are meant to insult a certain individual, or anything of that nature, and no rude things in the Threads please (such as Pornography).
- Other accounts, we do not want to see you using other accounts ( if you have one ) to Spam and Flame people. And basically cause Friction between you and another individual. If we do catch you using another account to create havoc, then we will Ban that account and take into discussion whether or not to ban your other account also.
- No Cursing, we as a community pride ourselves on being a well-built friendly community, so we could do without the likes of you, arguing and calling each other over. Simple rule to follow.
- If you are having trouble with people around the site, let the Moderators or Administrators know, and we shall see what we can do about it, although don't post it in a Public thread, instead send the complaint to us Via Pm (Private Message).
- If someone sends you a Pm that is unpleasant or rude, then copy and paste it to one of the Moderators or Administrators. Although if it is a minor problem then you should go to the Moderators, but if you think it is a big problem, then by all means go straight to the Administrators about it. And we as Staff will endeavor to help you in anyway possible.
- Advertising, well don't open a thread to initially advertise your website; however, we do consider signature links to be better, and thus we allow them. But, no links to any Pornographic, Warez, or otherwise offensive sites please.
- Personal Details, we urge you not to give your personal details out, but we find it ok to share Email addresses and anything in which you choose to fill out in the Profile page. Just don't give anything out past what it asks on the Profile page, unless you are sure you can trust the person.
- Warnings, depending on which rule you break you may be given a warning off a Moderator or Administrator, we usually pride ourselves on the three strike rule in which you get 3 warnings and then it is a Ban. But if you break a serious rule, then an Administrator would have no problem in Banning you without warnings. If you break the rules there are consequences.
- Ban dodging, if we have banned one account, and we find that you have another account, well this account will also be banned without warning.
- Creating threads, please nothing rude, and try to keep it down on the swearing and sorts, because as you may well know we have young people on these boards and the last thing we want is for them to see something that they shouldn't. And remember this board has been up for a Year, so chances are (if you are creating a Devil May Cry thread) it is already there, as with any thread you may be making. So always use the Search Function.
- Double/Triple Posting, don't do this in order to raise your post count. Trust me no one thinks anymore on any less of you if you have 3000 posts or 300.
- If you have a Temporary ban, that does not give you the right to avoid it by creating a new account, if we see this, it will be a Permanent ban. We won't tolerate this.
- Avatars, No pornography please, as mentioned above we have young people on these boards, and that is not the type of thing they should be seeing. The avatar maximum size is 80x80, but if your avatar is over the size limit, it will get resized automatically.
- Signatures, again No pornography for reasons stated above. and they Must be no larger than 600x300 and this includes all signatures, so if you intend on having more than one, please keep it within the size limits. Here is an example of the size below:

- We will have no Graphics (whether it be a Sig or an avatar) that may offend some group of people, so please be cautious when making them or using them. The same thing goes for offending a group of people in a certain thread.
- Power Posting, this is a big thing with some members. People feel the need to have a huge amount of posts to be a respected member around here, but that is totally against what being respected is. You need to make meaningful posts (especially when posting in the Devil May Cry forums) because no one is going to take anything you say seriously otherwise.
New Rule - 13th March.
- Basically this is a rule that involves a lot of people, we don't want to see all this text talk all the time. We want you to speak in an orderly manner, in which all people can understand. So this means no upside down typing, no text talk, fine it is alright to use stuff like "lol" or "lmao", but what we don't want to see is a whole message wrote in text talk. Especially in the Devil May Cry board, and we don't consistently want to see messages such as "OMG U GOR PWNERIZED", instead resort to typing it tidy. Ok, I will admit that Pwnd is an internet word for owned, so, yes it is ok to see that, but the above is what bugs us.
New Rule - 18th March.
- Right we are tired of the sudden craze to have people locking their posts all the time. We know that this is no bug now, of that we are sure. So if we catch any posts being Locked, you will be warned, no questions asked. It is a pain to have a Thread full of locked posts, seeing this way no one can reply.
