Tough question....

I personally cannot say FFVII because in reality I don't find the story altogether too great. I replayed it once without thinking about the nostalgia it gave, and realized really that FFVII was only awesome when you were in Midgar, and right after leaving it. The Kalm Town part was nice (as contrast to Midgar) and to see Sephiroth humane was touching. I love the Chocobo Stables. And I love when you go through (what I think are) the Mythril Mines. But then (in my opinion) the game got less... good. Not sure why. Great characters and all, but it didn't quite appeal to me :/

I prefer FFVIII over FFVII. But really, my favorite is probably Crystal Chronicles, simply because it, along with FFIX (in my humble opinion) is the only game that really feels like a classical fantasy game with a classical fantasy world.

My two cents. I also like FFXI.

I played 8 through,

I played 9 as well, but I didn't like it.

I liked 10 as well, but I always died at the enemy on the ship(I borrowed it from a friend)

 

I would say, 8 is the best, I just like the characters.

I think all of the FF games have great stroylines and charaters but the one FF game that i think stands out from the rest is FFX but now i am playing FFXII and that seems preety good so far.

Oh, FFX. The only other ones I've played are part 7 and 8. So of course mine is part 10. FFX was made in like....'01 I think? And even to this day the graphics are still pretty dang good to the quality of graphics of games made in '07.

FINAL FANTASY III! I played the origional (and not number VI) years ago, and loved every second of it! One cannot imagine my joy when I saw it for the DS! Comon people, one has GOT to love Final Fantasy III!

FFVII, FFVIII, FFX were really good. FFX-2 and FFVII Dirge of Cerebrus were disappointments. FFXII wasn't bad but it wasn't great.

It's hard to decide, but if I had to, it probably be FFVII.
