It doesn't matter how old you are. I'm 14 and my 8 year old little brother loves it.
Welcome to Hell!

Re: who here is old enough to play DMC ???
Yavanna: Does it really matter? I am 20 years old... but I don't think that age is important. Hell, you can even be 10. I don't care. It's just a game!
Yeah,I'm 14,but I've been watching my brother play rated mature games when I was at like...5 or 6! But I still didn't really care about the blood..and gore...'cuz I grew up watching him play "Resident Evil"games...but now, there are games that has FAR more blood and gore than that! DMC series isn't really that bad at all. There's hardly any blood and gore, mostly just shooting and slashing...hell,even in DMC3 when you kill demons, you know what comes out?... dust and sand! But anyway...I'm mature enough to handle it. I don't really think that there is really any game out there that I will close my eyes at... Edit: About what "Dante's Twin" said,I read a PSM (Playstation Magazine)book, and said that quite a few parents don't really care how much blood, gore, violence, and even I have to say...drugs, it has in games...as long as there is no nudity! So yeah,I know what ya mean "Dante's Twin".

Re: who here is old enough to play DMC ???
LOL no way, if my parents caught me playing that game there wouldn't be a Michael_Roby, LOL. There way over protective, as if the video game rating is law or something, I got my bro into buying me 3 SE and now I'm trying for the origional. When my parents come by while I'm playing, I go to the options screen, put down the controller, and scratch my arm, they fall for it! PS-I'm only slightly over 13
*Been here over two year ^_^* I ain't back for real..... But rest assured, I'm still watching over this place.

Re: who here is old enough to play DMC ???
I think there is mutch more than being able to tolerate gore and blood with age. I mean, look at abes oddysey. the hero farts. clearly nothing wrong with that. but if you get a 8 year old to play it long enouhf, he'll run around the house making farting sounds and say rude phrases to anyone they see. actual maturity also comes with age, not just tolerance to scary images. just an observation. I am 19, so yea, I can play it.

Re: who here is old enough to play DMC ???
scorpio:Hey im 13 and I play almost any "E" game to "M" game I even play GTA but I dont go around taking swings at random people on the streets. I to think its not the age its the maturity level, heck! theres bin 19 year old kids shooting people caus of video games, so what dose that tell you!? Ooh and I have people on other forums think im 20... dont ask me why.
Yeah, I've heard alot about that stuff about: Kids+guns/violence+schools...And also, as long as we're not like the kids that made these words familiar..."the columbine shooting"....

Re: who here is old enough to play DMC ???
Break:ba! im 20, but games don't make people more violent. unless your violent to begin with, games don't do anythong. shooting with the "x" button is very diffrent I tell you!
lol Very true on that one Break. But I saw on a news channel, they were talking about shootings that happened in schools and stuff and said that videogames can effect some kids in a different way...but I DO think that parents are going too far on it saying that videogames is the root of all of the shootings and kids involved with "other" things...it's beyond our power on if it affects kids, but it won't effect me in that kind of way though...jeez. But anyways, I agree with you Break, but alot of parents don't.

most parents who have those oppinions don't play any kind of videogames. they should see exactly what there children are doing. comeon, you'll prevent your kid from shooting fake people with fake guns with unrealalistic looking and amounts of blood pour out of the targets? I use to think games like dmc where evil, but if you take a closer look, they aren't all that bad. ...yet at the same time, some of these parents will alow there kids to talk to compleat strangers online without monitouring them. as a resolt, you have alot of kids visiting places they realy shouldn't be. im not talking about this fine comunity, but like porno stuff and things of that nature.

Yeah, agreed again. Don't some people meet strangers online and stuff on Myspace too? 'Cuz I never liked that site in the first place anyways...
