Re: DMC movie based on the novel
Nice to see so many DMC fans... I feel like I've found another home... anyway...this whole movie idea you have Gilver...I'd love to help...cause I'm a big fan of the DMC series myself especially, DMC3! Let me know if there's anything I can do!Especially if it involves Vergil! Big fan of the evil son of Sparda! As for the infinite ammo in Dante's guns... yeah that does explain it... Oh and I'd love to see your script when you're done with it! --------------- "You showed up..." -Vergil

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
Wow, Gilver I have to say I am impressed reading through what has been going on with you. At first with this whole thing, I thought meh, just another Fan boy and his Movie. I really did underestimate your talent dude, and for that I am sorry. I've just read what's going on, and well, really good and positive start to it all. I really love what you have in mind, and 'though I have not read the book (although I hope to get that chance sometime) I'm ecstatic to see what you have come up with. You have some real talent and the costumes and guns are all good, from what I have seen anyway. I actually thought the same things about Jamez at first, I thought it was one big joke, but well, I have been proved wrong with both of you now, you more so than Jamez. Although it has taken a while for this thread to really start up, unlike Jamez', I would say you are both equally talented in what you do. I can't wait to see the script dude, I look forward to see what you are capable of. Oh and it is nice to see you have this much following, I know you have started on a well bit of a bumpy start to this thread, but you have indeed stuck with it, and been bringing updates whenever possible. Good job dude.

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
ugh, back from the SAT's....normally I love tests but this one was more annoying that most. anyways, I appreciate your support on all of this, its nice to know that some people have confidence in me. Believe me, making movies is no joke for me! Most importantly the writing, as soon as that is done and everything is mapped out (costumes, hair (lol) props, fight choreography, effects etc etc) I am really looking forward to how good I can make this (knowing my own perfectionist attitude, it won't be anything other than kick @$$) BTW, I had an idea for the reproduction of Ebony and Ivory (for detailed models at least) first I'll make a clay 1:1 scale model (the problem with using those airsoft gun is 1, the price and 2, the inaccuracy of the design when compared to the real deal) down to the last detail. When that's done I'll make a molding of them from plastic ( or some other easy to use substance) and color each part using krylon paint (making sure the guns look NEW, in the following movies the guns look worn, but since they are brand new in this movie...) As for the swords, they must be made of plastic, probably painted with metallic paint (something that looks like real metal) due to the size they must be as light as possible, giving the effect that to the characters, the swords are weightless. For close ups (for Yamato at least) real swords will be used. Rebellion itself will have a complex process (ugh) the hilt will be made in much the same way as Ebony and Ivory. Well, these are just simple ways to make props, I'm open to any other suggestions that are better! thanx you guys! I need to get back to writing!! (which I am almost finished with!! I cheated and wrote during a study break)

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
k, for the gun replicas, i think maybe you should make a molding of the guns, cause didn't you already have them? i thought you did. if not, then find someone who's really good at making things out of clay and wouldn't mind doing this as a favor. um... for the swords, I'm not sure. You always could go on a movie site or something and call some peeps for making swords. I'm sure there are help websites for that kind of stuff. http://www.makeup-fx.com/Indexeng.html here a website for special effects http://user.netonecom.net/~swordman/SwordMaking/SwordMaking.htm sword making um... i hope those help. and yeah.

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
ok, I'll look into those anyways, I don't have those particular guns, but I still have one that is similar to Ebony, making it a good base to start from, especially if I want to make the clay models

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
this is the one I've got http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-HGNB-125B.htm click on the image to see a bigger pic there's another one that's silver (that I bought, but I had to return it because it was two tone instead of silver) so I could use those for ebony and Ivory, but I only have one now with external work they could be made to look like Ebony and Ivory, but starting from scratch might yield better results

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
You know.. the guns you showed before.. all we would have to do with them is we could get engraved in to them Ebony and Ivory by a diamond. That's an option. As for the swords, well.. we'd have to work around those ideas... i don't know to much on that. So how do you feel you did on the SATs? Wrath

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
I could have done better on the SAT"s, in fact I will when I take em again ( I was going to anyways regardless of my score) anyways, I am a VERY observant person, I have to count on the fact that others will be more observant that me. That's why I think a exact model is the best course of action, unless of course it proves impossible. Besides, I don't have those other two and they cost $220 EACH! lol, plus you need green gas (which I have, but it uses a lot!)etc to make them work if I can't do anything else I do those, but not before I've made sure I can't do anything else ( like make them from the newest gun I showed you) but still...it would be pretty darned easy to work with those expensive ones...hmm..let me think about it ...the black one would need to be machined to be left handed, then i would need new grips and engraving...it could work we'll see, if I have an extra $440 to spend I'll do it! but I'll see how well I can make my $45 ones look before I do that BTW, I am finished with the ending of the script! yay! and I just need to fill in a small hole and polish the whole thing up! and then we got ourselves a script!!

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
Yoh bro. alrighty.. this is what i have gotten with the fight scene. I'm sorry if it's a bit late, but I don't know... you may be able to do something with it. Devil May Cry Fight scene -In the renewed Devil’s Tower (or some dark place), Dante walks towards the pedestal where Sparda’s sword lies.- (Vergil sneaks out from the shadows) Vergil: Well, it’s about time… Dante. Dante: Yeah I thought it was to quiet. So what are you after, the sword again? Or is it another fight you want? Vergil: Hehehe, well in order to even be able to pull out our father’s sword, blood shed must be made. And not just any blood, but the blood of Sparda, form his sons. Dante: Ahh, so basically you want to beat the *** out of each other and the one who can take more of a beating gets the sword, those are the rules huh? Vergil: For lack of better terms, yes. The best warrior shall have the sword. The best son of Sparda. And I plan of being that one. I am the one that desires pow… Dante: Damn it bro, do you ever shut up? You sound like a broken record. If you want to fight that badly, then let us do so instead of you… (Vergil makes a cheap shot by stabbing Dante while in mid speech) Vergil: In that case let us both stop babbling and fight then. No more words, just let the swords do the talking now. -The brutal bloody battle starts. Dante was always weaker because he would hold back, he never had the will to kill his own flesh and blood. But this fight was for their father Sparda’s sword. He now has no choice but to be as merciless as Vergil. The anger that has always been building up inside of Dante from the day demons killed his mother up till now shall be unleashed. No more fooling around, just him and his brother fighting. Dante fears this to be to the death. -As the demonic battle wages on, after each striking blow each son of Sparda gets weaker and weaker. Narrowing closer and closer to their final breaths. Scatters of blood and bits of flesh scatter among the stone and granite on which they stand. The funny part about all this is, deep down they actually get a thrilling taste of excitement fro this fight. But also, especially as much Vergil would never admit it, they both cry inside because as they both know they are brothers. And deep down they do love each other as brothers no matter how pissed they end up getting at each other. -Both of them now at opposite ends of the arena parallel to the pedestal. They are both down to their knees, breathing heavily and have a look as if they are almost suffocating. Each of their eyes meet. It takes them a few minutes but eventually they charge for one last strike that will deice who the victor shall be. As their blades start to swing in the strike, memories of their battle come to mind. The last time they were in a charge like this, Dante won. Now as their blades swing, Dante uses the same swing as before, but Vergil knows this by now. He ducks lower making Dante’s sword go just above Vergil’s head, and he slices up horizontally slashing Dante from the stomach to his upper back. The fight ends. Vergil is on his knees still not at all recovered from his injuries, even in worse shape from that last attack actually. Dante now down and bleeding. Vergil stands the winner. Vergil: Jackpot Dante, my brother. An honorable fight… as always. (cracks a smile) -Vergil steps up to the pedestal and claims the sword of Sparda as his prize. After he feels the power flowing through his veins, he looks back at Dante. It takes him a minute, but for the second time he swallows his pride and uses his new power to resurrect his brother. Dante: What.. the…. (groggy). Vergil, why’d you… why’d you bring me back? (As Vergil starts walking away) Vergil: You are one of the only worthy opponents, Dante. It would be a shame to waste your breath like that. We have… other battles to be had. (Disappears in the shadows) Tell me what you think alrighty ^^ later. Wrath

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
ok, I like it but where'd you want this? I can't really put it in the projects I'm working on now, because they are pre-DMC3. But shoot man, they darn good well, I am almost done with my script now, the first one at least. I actually put another new scene in, lol, more of a character development scene.. its always good to write more than you have to, because you could always use deleted scenes, everyone loves those. Tony/DAnte was asked to take his partner's daughter out..lol..so he does, but he's not quite as cocky as he usually is because he actually likes her. But at the end he has to leave her behind because its become too dangerous for her, but he covers up his sadness with that bad-a$$ attitude, you'll see.... here's a small amount of another scene I'm working on "(Tony and Bobby talking outside Boby's Cellar) Bobby: I’m telling you, you go in there and you’ll have the whole bar challenging you Tony: some challenge Bobby: I’m not worried about you, I’m worried about my bar. So I think its best if you take it somewhere else. Chester’s place down the street needs some business, he’s stopped coming to poker games. Tony: (rolls his eyes) ok dude, see ya (Chester’s bar didn’t stink like Bobby’s, but it lacked variety with drinks and that kept the business low) (Tony walks up to the bar and orders a drink) Tony: gimme a beer Chester: What was that? Tony: A BEER Chester: you want a drink? What’re you, 17? Lemme see some ID Tony: (irritated, pulls out a gun and presses it to Chester’s temple) How’s this? Chester: o-ok, everything checks out.. (gives him a beer)" one of those pointless but awesome scenes here's that concept drawing of Vergil, its not finished and the other side had print on it! so you'll see a little bit of it poking through, lol http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k229/devilmaycryfan/scan0002.jpg

That's priceless! oh yeah, between me and you we can definately come up with great funny strips like that ^^ but as for placement.. i have no idea.. you don't actually have to use the script, you can just enjoy it if you'd like ^^ it's your choice my bro. Re: DMC movie based on the novel
You can thank my sister for the idea, I was talking to her about Dante's age for the movie, and she asked: "wait..if he's 17, how come he's drinking?" "They're mercs working in slums overrun by mobsters...no one cares" she thought that it would be damn cool to have Dante do what he did in that scene...aww..I'm so proud of my sis you know...that particular scene might have a place in Part 2....but where??? well, it certainly can't have the force edge in it, but what if it was something else? I'll re-read those parts in the manga after I'm finished polishing my script, then I'll see where it could fit

Re: DMC movie based on the novel
if I was responsible for writing the official script for the official movie...It would no doubt satisfy all fans I have a strict "No flubb" policy plus, we don't even know if Trish was actually taken out of the story, since DMC2 bit and DMC3 was before that. We won't know anything until DMC4 comes out, but even then we might not know
