Arashi growled angrily as they started to fall back, slicing Blades in half as they got in her way or tried to block her, her eyes still glowing brightly as she glances around her, still slashing at Blades here and there as they tried to block her way. Quietly she chants something under her breath, her sword glowing a bright almost blinding white as she holds it above her head and cries out. "LIGHTNING STRIKE!" Several of the Blades around her are struck and disintegrated immediately.

Sometimes people put walls up not to keep others out, but to see who cares enough to tear them down.

Cordal looked around at the army of Blades and smiled to himself, he knew that eventually they would have to fall back as the numbers dropped with every second. He took Azrael from his back as a group of Blades lunged at him from the ground, he blocked all the attacks with ease and kicked them back. Cordal rushed the Blades with lightning speed, slicing a leg from one of them, it fell to the floor squirming around, Cordal walked over to the injured Blade and whispered to it "good night," then he stabbed it through the head. "One down, two to go," as he said this a Diablos swiped another Blade with its wing, knocking it to the ground, before finishing it with it's tail. "Correction, two down, one to go," Cordal threw Azrael at the remaining Blade, hitting it's waist and carrying it through the air, Cordal caught Azrael as it came back to him like a boomarang and slammed it to the floor cutting it clean in half. "Well, better catch up to the others," he jumped onto a passing Yian Garuga and followed onto the rest of the group.

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

I fell unconscious again after seeing Dante, but I eventually got up, and looked around. No one was at DMC, so I stepped outside to see a bloody sight in the background....

"Dante you sly little... Not inviting me to party!"

I ran into armies of blade, wondering were the others were, but soon I was enjoying the sweet taste of vengence too much to care, and resumed my slaughter. In my rather short carreer I had slain many a blade, but this was just plain epic! I constantly searched for any item sitting around to use as a weapon. The only thing more fun then a blade massacare was to do it creativly! Pieces of vehicles caught my eye and I began using them to rip them apart. By the time I hid to catch my breath, my jacket was literally covered in blood, and it felt good! I noticed a steel chain nearby and grabbed it, and secured my gun to my blade.... This was gonna be fun! I ran out and sliced through all the opposition.... While holding my trigger. What a bloodbath it was! Limbs of dead demons everywere, and a fresh taste of blood on my lips. Suddenly I was attacked from behind, something big, I could tell.

"Fiesty are we? You've turned out more trouble at this age then that Cystal *** girl!"

Crystal? How long had it been since I heard that name.... Crystal was the name of my girlfriend before the demons took over.... Now he had invoked my rage! I was in seconds in my demon form jabbed the demon in the gut with my blade, then flipped my gun and shot him in the freshly opened wound. He fell over, writhing in pain, I turned to face him.

"Your whole damn pure blooded race is going to pay! I'll avenge her death!"

"Her death?! Foolish hybrid! She still lives!"

His words took me by shock.... After I had killed him.

    "She's.... She's still alive....?"

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

The city was literally ablaze from the massive fighting that occurred as the night continued to set in....

Raikoh/Katsuou leaped frantically from rooftop to rooftop, now it Shutendoji's turn to chase as the pursuit went on. As Raikoh/Katsuou neared the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru, a sudden scream caught his attention. In the distance on ground level, a young woman was backed into the wall as a small pack of Marionettes closed around her for the kill. Raikoh/Katsuou was about to jump down to help until another shout caught his attention; a squad of soldiers a small distance closer to him was surrounded on all sides by a group of demons lead by 2 Nefasturri (the building demons from DMC2, that's how you spell it right?). Raikoh/Katsuou looked back, Shutendoji was quickly gaining on him. The Minamoto warrior had to think quickly until he thought of a good plan, suddenly he turned around and charged at Shutendoji. Taking Shutendoji by surprise, Raikoh/Katsuou took 3 quick swipes with Soul Shrine but Shutendoji managed to quickly regain composure and blocked all 3 attacks. But then the Minamoto warrior quickly drew a small scroll bearing the crest of Soryu out of his coat sleeve and pointed his left hand towards his enemy.

"What? Soryu magic?!" Shutendoji shouted in surprise before 3 large beams of purple energy in the form of dragons launched from Raikoh/Katsuou's hand. The energy suddenly exploded in front of Shutendoji's face and the demon lord roared and screamed in pain, clutching his still smoking face and attempting to shake off the disorientation from the blast. Then Raikoh/Katsuou took his chance and quickly leaped from the rooftop in the direction of the surrounded woman. As he started to pass over the soldiers, he drew his revolver blade Eversor from his holster and shot a large volley of Eversor's .60 cal. heavy rounds down at the Nefasturri. The heavy rounds had no problem punching through the heads of the Nefasturri and eliminating them before the heads could detach and continue fighting. The sergeant of the soldiers just barely noticed the Minamoto warrior fly through the air overhead before he ordered his troops to press the attack. Now Raikoh/Katsuou shifted his focus towards the Marionettes. They were about to attack the woman before he landed in their midst and effortlessly cut them down using Soul Shrine and Eversor in unison. Walking over to the cowering woman, Raikoh/Katsuou noticed that she was holding something in her arms, it was a crying baby. The Minamoto warrior smiled slightly, relieved that he managed to save them in time. He then looked over and saw the squad of soldiers mop up the last of the demons around them.

"Hey, don't worry. Go over to those soldiers, they'll lead you to safety." said Raikoh/Katsuou before he leaped onto a nearby rooftop and continued his way towards the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru with Shutendoji in close pursuit, having finally shaken off the disorientation from Raikoh/Katsuou's earlier attack.

"Hey, what are you doing here?! Let's get you back to HQ." shouted the sergeant as he ran over to the woman. The woman hesitated, still looking off at the direction that Raikoh/Katsuou left in. The sergeant also noticed this and waited for a moment. The woman whispered a quick "thank you" before following the sergeant and his squad to back to their HQ.

Raikoh/Katsuou looked back at the now pissed off Shutendoji. The demon lord's flaming aura shone even larger and brighter than even when they were in the downtown district and his body actually showed no damage from the earlier attack, probably healed right after the moment of the earlier atack's impact.

"Ah damnit, looks like that attack did little more than piss him off!" Katsuou thought. "Maybe we should add some Genbu magic to the Area-Sealing Spell once we get to Temen-Ni-Gru. Anyways, you should start preparing the spell. Don't forget to absorb the residual energy of nearby defeated demons." replied Raikoh in Katsuou's mind. The Minamoto warrior then pulled out 4 large scrolls from his coat, 2 of the scrolls with Soryu crests and the other 2 bearing Genbu crests, and wrapped them around his sword Soul Shrine. Raikoh/Katsuou then started chanting an ancient incantation and Soul shrine glowed brightly in response as they closed in on the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru, observing that a large squad of soldiers had taken cover in the ruins and were fending off the demons there. While chanting the incantation, large masses of dark light rose from the corpses of a few nearby demons and were absorbed into the Minamoto warrior, restoring some of his ki. Raikoh/Katsuou then arrived at the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru, landing on the largest remnant of the once menacing tower. "Alright, now all that's left is to wait for that ugly *** to get here and then we can spring the trap." thought Katsuou, looking in the direction of Shutendoji who wasn't far behind.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the city...

"Brother, our forces are almost all here and in formation." said Algeo, observing a large squadron of infested helicopters flying out of the small portal. "Yes, and the small army of Dopplegangers, Shadows, and a few Nightmares should be in the city by now." replied Pascicor as he observed the large mass of shadows entering the city. "Brother, it appears that Brutus, Effrenus, and their forces are almost in position." said Algeo as he saw Brutus and Effrenus slowly assemble their forces while at the south, the unbelievably huge army lead by the 3 Despair Embodied Clones patiently waited for the signal to attack. "We should think of something to deal with this 'Vergil's' army, if they don't move from those rooftops, then they'll have the height advantage." said Pascicor. "We still have a major superiority in numbers, but I guess we should make use of the time and formulate some strategies." said Algeo.

The two brothers then started forming battle strategies as the chaotic night wore on.

He glared as he stood there on the road, his Sharingan spinning slowly. '' Let's finish this! Your dead!'' He shouted as he made a handsign, and Chidori flared to life. The deadly Lightning attack engulfing his hand, as he began to cut down demons with it. '' You're finished!'' He taunted the demons as he cut down a few more, before letting the attack fade out. He then unsheathed Hell Blaze. That done, he resumed cutting down the demons, deactivating his Sharingan. His katana becoming slick with demon blood.

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

It took them an hour or two, but finally Dante and Vergil succeeded in bringing the souls in the Devil Arms back to life. They were all there: Cerberus (the frosty, three-headed demonhound), Nevan (the seductive vampire capable of controlling bats and lightning), Beowulf (the cocky, shining tiger with the power of light), some new, fresh, headless demon hosts for Agni and Rudra (each being a head attached to a scimitar), the mighty steed Gerion (a horse pulling a chariot filled with all sorts of demonic missiles and capable of slowing down the time around him) and even Doppelganger (the living shadow, capable of turning himself into the dark half of his enemies). Even though some of the ressurected demons felt hateful feelings for Dante, the only thing they could do was showing obedience to their master (Dante in this case).

As the ritual was completed, one of the clones of the Despair Embodied landed in front of Dante and Vergil. Vergil said to Dante "Since you've had the honor of getting YOUR personal little army tonight and you've had the pleasure of destroying the original of this little freak, you're unable to deny me taking this one down". Dante replied "I couldn't have said that in a prettier way, brother" with a slight grin.

Vergil transformed into Nelo Angelo and swung his hellish blue broadswordabove his head. The DE clone recognised this as a challenge to a battle and let each of his hands shift into a sword. Nelo Angelo and the DE clone rushed towards eachother and as they crashed into eachother, the ground rumbled and a crater had formed under their feet. They had a short battle on the ground, but the duel quickly moved into the air. Having no wings (a slight advantage his opponent had) Nelo Angelo kept using his ability to teleport himself anywhere. He usually teleported himself right above the clone and then tried to get him on the ground again. Suddenly, Nelo Angelo put himself into a position that would make him look vulnerable to attack. The clone rushed towards Nelo Angelo, having the impression this would be an easy kill. But as his blade-hands were about to impale Nelo Angelo through the chest, his victim teleported elsewhere. The clone was confused and looked around him. Suddenly, two spectral swords impaled the feet of the demon clone and pinned him to the ground. The clone looked up and a slight second later, his wings were cut off by a Helmbreaker performed by Nelo Angelo. The shock of the hit made the spectral swords to disappear. When the clone of the DE turned towards Nelo Angelo, the hellish knight summoned an orb of blue fire from his left hand and fired it at the clone. The demon quickly formed a fireball of his own energy and fired it as a counterattack. As the clone did this, Nelo Angelo moved to fast even for a demoneye to see and landed an amount of lethal strikes on the DE clone. He tapped the demon clone on the shoulder and said "Sorry buddy, but you're no match for me". This enraged the clone, but before the demon could strike, it's head, arms and legs fell off of it's torso. Before it's soul could escape, a claw of blue shadowfire erupted from Nelo Angelo's sword and grabbed the soul and absorbed it into the mighty soul of it's master.

This addition to Nelo Angelo's strenght made the ground shake for a few seconds. Dante said "Not bad, brother, not bad at all!".

Jason ran through the streets of the city slashing through demons and with inhuman speed he jumped to the top of a building. He quickly put away Variel and took out his hand guns and started firing at a bunch of scissor scythes that had appeared around him. When the last one fell he started jumping from rooftop to rooftop shooting the demons in the alleyways and on other rooftops.

All this carnage.... This could hardly get any better! I looked from the corner of my eye to spot Dante, Vergil, and an army of other demons.... Who seemed to have joined them.

    "Sweet...."

I ran up to meet them, blades standing in my way, I slashed through everyone of them. As I moved I saw the demons destroying everything in their way, I quickly dodged out of their way, only for two others to make their entrance....

    "Guess we were late Ifrit."

"It's not like Dante to forget us!"

The two resumed began their assult, I managed to reach Dante.

    "Hehe, were've you been?"

"Cleaning up the mess on the other side of the city."

"Ha, same old kid aren't ya.... Guess we better catch up later eh?"

An army of blades no surrounded us.

"Nah, now seems like a good time.... We can chat during the massacare, I wanna know everything...."

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

It didn't take long before Shutendoji caught up and landed on the remnant of Temen-Ni-Gru that Raikoh/Katsuou waited on.

"You will pay for your earlier insolence. I'm going to enjoy ripping your soul apart bit by bit." said Shutendoji.

"We'll see about that. Now that you're here, we can finally get serious. In fact, let's make sure that this fight doesn't go anywhere else....NOW!!!" replied Raikoh/Katsuou as he completed the preparation for the Area-Sealing spell. In a flash, he raised Soul Shrine up into the air and it was instantly engulfed in light. The scrolls he wrapped around it flew off and high into the air far above the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru in a square formation. Beams of purple light shot out of the scrolls and connected to each other. Once the scrolls were connected, a giant sheet of purple energy instantly dropped down to the ground, effectively sealing off the ruins of Temen-Ni-Gru from the inside and out, trapping the surviving demons and entrenched humans that were within its area along with Shutendoji and the Minamoto warrior. Some demons that were outside the area attempted to charge through but ended up instantly incinerated.

"So you've used Soryu and Genbu magic to trap us in here...perfect. Now you can't get away!" shouted Shutendoji as he raised Crimson Malevolence into the air and began to absorb the accessible souls that were within the area. Raikoh/Katsuou responded by keeping Soul Shrine raised into the air and began to absorb the residual energy leftover from all the defeated demons within the area. Suddenly, the air within the sealed area swirled in a huge vortex of souls and demonic energy. When the last of the souls was absorbed, Shutendoji's flaming aura shone even brighter and bigger than before and Raikoh/Katsuou's aura responded by glowing as brightly as well when the last of the residual energy was absorbed.

"Remember, be careful of that sword of his. If even one cut is inflicted-" advised Raikoh's voice in Katsuou's mind before Katsuou interrupted, "I know, that won't happen."

"PREPARE YOURSELF!!!" shouted Shutendoji. He instantly lunged forward with blinding speed and stabbed outward with Crimson Malevolence, its demonic flames spiraling along its blade as it was thrust forward. Raikoh/Katsuou spirit dashed out of the way and, seeing his opening, leaped towards Shutendoji with Soul Shrine and Eversor at the ready. Shutendoji swung around and attempted to catch the Minamoto warrior off guard but Raikoh/Katsuou simply jumped over the attack, landed behind Shutendoji, and slashed at Shutendoji's back, slicing him with the edge of Soul Shrine. The demon howled in pain, quickly turned around, and blasted a huge wave of demonic flames out of his left hand towards his foe. Raikoh/Katsuou jumped up to avoid the attack again but Shutendoji, anticipating this, leaped up behind him and swiftly kicked him down to the ground below with a quick axe kick before he could react. The force of the kick sent the Minamoto warrior plummeting to the ground with incredible velocity, causing him to smash straight through the "roof" of the remnant of Temen-Ni-Gru they fought on.  Raikoh/Katsuou adjusted his position in mid air and landed in a crouched position inside the arena where Dante had fought Geryon so many years ago.

"Focus, Katsuou! Our soul unity is beginning to break!" warned Raikoh in Katsuou's mind. Katsuou realized this as he began to feel sudden jolts of pain all over his body at quick intervals as he tried to stand. He also discovered that his body wasn't responding as quickly as he thought, causing him to struggle as he tried to get up. "Your body must be near its limits. I knew this would happen eventually since you're an incomplete Immortal Warrior." said Raikoh. "What do you mean?" asked Katsuou. "Remember, many years ago, something went wrong in the ritual to transform you into a permanent Immortal Warrior and it nearly claimed your soul. You may be an exceptionally powerful human, but you're still a mortal and thus, even your body has its limits. It can't handle the power of the Minamoto clan on it's own for so long. You've been in Immortal Warrior form for over 4 hours now. You'd be near dead if you tried to sustain Immortal Warrior form for that long on your own but with even my assistance, you can't break a mortal body's limits." Raikoh explained. "Then we'll have to end this quickly. Raikoh, can you draw out all the power you can from the Minamoto Clan souls that reside in Soul Shrine?" asked Katsuou. "Why? I just told you-" said Raikoh before he realized Katsuou's plan. "I see what you mean. There's little chance for success and I'm not sure if I can do what you need of me, but it's all we can do for now. You'll be literally putting your life on the line if you seriously intend to do what I think you're gonna do. I just hope you can handle it." said Raikoh.

Katsuou then steadied his breathing and calmed his mind, syncing his flow of ki with Raikoh's again and then syncing with the ki flow of the souls of the Minamoto clan that reside in Soul Shrine. The sword then begun to radiate with power and Katsuou's body became engulfed in blinding white light. In a few moments, the light cleared and revealed a large set of wings composed of white energy that protruded from the Minamoto warrior's back. The blessed armor that covered his outfit reformed and merged with his clothes to become a full suit of blessed armor adorned with the designs of the Minamoto clan on the front and back of the chest plate. The white lock of hair that stood out from the rest of Katsuou's black hair had extended its color to the rest of his hair, giving him a full head of glowing white hair. The black designs on Soul Shrine's blade had disappeared, revealing a pure white blade. Eversor's blade-barrel had also extended to full sword length and the blessed engravings covering it glowed brightly. Katsuou looked down at his body in amazement, he felt power literally coursing through his veins, his weapons felt weightless, and he felt a strange calm in his mind, as though his ki flowed in perfect harmony with the world. "This....this is amazing! I can feel the power surging through me! Wait, it seems like the wings are talking to me." remarked Katsuou. "That's because each feather represents a soul from the Minamoto clan. Be careful, your body is being pushed to the farthest extent of its limits. Our souls won't be able to stay merged and we won't be able to maintain this form for much longer.  Wait.....Here he comes!" warned Raikoh.

Shutendoji dropped in from the hole in the ceiling that was made from the Minamoto warrior's earlier "entry" and landed in front of him. He had a look of complete surprise at his powered up enemy's new appearance before he managed to regain his composure. "Interesting, let's hope that new form isn't just for looks. Here I come!" shouted Shutendoji as he charged towards Raikoh/Katsuou. The newly empowered Minamoto warrior readied his stance and empowered his weapons by flowing his ki into them, making them shine with a bright, holy aura. When the distance closed, Shutendoji swiftly swung down Crimson Malevolence. The blade of Crimson Malevolence looked as though it was moving a little slowly to Katsuou's eyes. "I...I can see it more clearly! Then that means..." thought Katsuou to himself as he blocked the strike and locked blades with Shutendoji. "....I can take him head on now!" thought Katsuou again. The two stayed locked until they both roughly pushed away, sliding a far distance from each other. The Minamoto warrior then charged forward and pressed the attack, sending flurries of slashes coupled with shots from Eversor at Shutendoji. Shutendoji now showed a barely noticeable expression of worry on his face as he increasingly had more and more trouble defending against the Minamoto warrior's offensive. Shutendoji then tried to counterattack by launching a large arc of demonic flame from swinging Crimson Malevolence. The Minamoto warrior seemingly vanished from Shutendoji's sight. But then Shutendoji noticed trails of ghostly smoke swirling around him. Raikoh/Katsuou was using a series of lightning fast spirit dashes, his speed apparently boosted from the intake of the power of the souls of the Minamoto clan. "Damnit! DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!!!" roared Shutendoji before he jammed Crimson Malevolence into the ground, causing a massive explosion of demonic flames around him. Raikoh/Katsuou then burst through the ensuing smoke and lashed out with a powerful strike from Soul Shrine. Shutendoji barely managed to block in time and the force of the blow coupled with the hasty defense sent Shutendoji crashing into the wall of the arena. After a few moments, Shutendoji stumbled from rubble caused by his impact into the wall. He then spoke but with a strange, different voice.

"Yes, this is what I've been waiting for! How long has it been since I've had such a wondrous battle? You are truly fighting with all your might and honor." said this new voice to Raikoh/Katsuou. Shutendoji then stumbled again and fell to his knees, clutching his head in pain. "Damnit! Crimson King, no matter how many times you try, you won't beat me! I am the king of this body now! You are my servant!" shouted Shutendoji's voice. He struggled to his feet, wildly swinging Crimson Malevolence around before causing an explosion of demonic fire under his feet and using the momentum to jump up and out through the hole in the ceiling. Raikoh/Katsuou quickly followed with a charged up spirit dash. On the roof of the remnant of Temen-Ni-Gru, Shutendoji was really struggling now, randomly swinging Crimson Malevolence and launching stray arcs of demonic fire as he tried to repress Crimson King.

"Could it be?" thought Raikoh in Katsuou's mind. "Something wrong?" asked Katsuou. "It seems that Crimson King had some fight left in him after all. Remember from the earlier conversation we had with Shutendoji, he possessed Crimson King's body after I defeated him one thousand years ago and now Crimson King is attempting to regain control of his body. This is our chance, Katsuou. You won't have to use your risky plan after all. Just rush towards him and stab him in the heart with Soul Shrine while he's distracted. Let me do the rest." Raikoh explained.

After concentrating more of his ki into a charged spirit dash, Raikoh/Katsuou bounded forward with a blindingly fast spirit dash. Shutendoji clumsily swung Crimson Malevolence at Raikoh/Katsuou's head to try and keep him away. The Minamoto warrior quickly ducked under the attack and drove Soul Shrine into his enemy's chest. "Spirits of the Minamoto clan, hear me! Purge Shutendoji's soul from Crimson King's body now!" shouted Raikoh's voice. Soul Shrine glowed brightly in response and in moments, a white light began to glow around Shutendoji as he howled in pain from feeling his soul being ripped from Crimson King's body. "I WON'T LET YOU!!!" shouted Shutendoji in defiance, trying to resist the purge. Raikoh/Katsuou then quickly stabbed Eversor into Shutendoji. A huge explosion ensued. When the smoke cleared, Shutendoji's soul appeared behind the now liberated body of Crimson King. The ghostly form of Shutendoji showed his true appearance, an ugly oni lord with black matted hair, long curved fangs, red skin, and a large muscular body. "Curse you Minamoto! Even though you defeated me, you still have to contend with the unstoppable hordes of demons that surround this city! The hordes of hell descend upon you! Someday, vengeance will be mine!" fumed Shutendoji. "Give Mundus my regards when you see him." replied Raikoh/Katsuou before a portal opened up under Shutendoji's soul. A bunch of black, shadowy hands reached out, grabbed Shutendoji, and dragged him down into the portal, sending him to hell.

"You have my gratitude, warrior. Freedom...is ever so fleeting. What is your name?" asked Crimson King. "You should know who I am at least." said Raikoh's voice. "Raikoh, is that you? I recognize your voice, but not your face." replied Crimson King.

"Oh, my name is Katsuou Minamoto. I guess I'm the current successor to the Minamoto clan. Not to intrude or anything but, aren't you mad at Raikoh for beating you all those years ago?" asked Katsuou as he withdrew Soul Shrine and Eversor from Crimson King's chest. "Ah, so you're the current Minamoto. No, I bear no grudge against your ancestor. He defeated me in a fair and honorable duel and I respect him for that. But...now I am indebted to you. I would assist you in your endeavor but, I don't have much life left in my body and I'm afraid I won't last much longer." said Crimson King before he fell to his knees, clutching at the gaping holes in his chest from the earlier attack. "I'm sorry about that but there was no other way." Katsuou apologized. "There's no need to apologize, I understand, you had to do it. Wait, maybe I can help in a different way. I can place my soul in this sword, Crimson Malevolence, and add my power to yours." said Crimson King before the last traces of his flaming aura disappeared. In seconds, his body dissolved and transformed into a bright crimson flame. The flame then merged with Crimson Malevolence, giving it a permanent crimson aura as the blade began to levitate and stay suspended in the air, awaiting its new master. Raikoh/Katsuou sheathed Soul Shrine and holstered Eversor and walked towards the floating blade. Once he grabbed the sword's hilt, his body was instantly engulfed in empowering flames. The flames grew hotter and more intense until Raikoh/Katsuou imposed his will upon the blade. He then raised Crimson Malevolence high into the air, its bright red aura and impressive flames illuminating the night sky.

Then, almost as if on queue, the Area-Sealing spell dissipated and a pack of Sin Scissors that patiently waited by the barrier charged through and flew towards the Minamoto warrior. Raikoh/Katsuou casually swiped Crimson Malevolence at the Sin Scissors, launching a huge wave of demonic fire that incinerated all but a lucky 2 that were above the pack. They charged, snipping their scissors in anticipation. Wanting to test out his new weapon, Raikoh/Katsuou effortlessly leaped around the Sin Scissors inflicting multiple small cuts on them with a quick flurry of slashes from Crimson Malevolence. The Minamoto warrior then leaped back and watch as Crimson Malevolence's effect kicked in. Huge black flames instantly burst out of the cuts that were inflicted by Crimson Malevolence and covered the Sin Scissors, completely immolating them into ashes in mere seconds.

"Wait, is what Shutendoji said earlier true?" asked Katsuou. "Yes, I am afraid so, while I was still possessed, I saw the massive hordes surrounding the city, there was a particularly large army to the south. If they attacked the city while the demonic occupation force remains here, then we won't last very long." Crimson King's voice explained in Katsuou's mind. "Great, now the voices in my head are becoming a crowd." remarked Katsuou. "We'll need to warn the others and buy some time. If we can retake the city and possibly fortify it before the surrounding forces attack, we'll have a better chance to turn the tide this war." said Raikoh's voice. "Well sure, those demonic hoards would just love to wait around and twittle their thumbs while we wipe out their friends in this city and then fortify the whole place." Katsuou said with a blatant tone of sarcasm. "Maybe if we could use an Area-Sealing spell for the whole city..." suggested Raikoh, either unaware or totally ignoring Katsuou's sarcasm. "THE WHOLE CITY?! Do you know how much it would take to seal off just five friggin square miles?! You're talking about over 300 square miles!" shouted Katsuou. "It doesn't have to be the whole city. Listen to the flow of ki and you'll find that the human forces as well as those assisting Dante have fallen back deeper into this city. They are all within 150 square miles of this location." replied Raikoh. "That's still a sh*tload of space." Katsuou retorted. "Well, this is...or was once the massive tower Temen-Ni-Gru. There must be a power source around here." suggested Crimson King's.

"That's not a bad idea, maybe those guys down there know where it is." said Katsuou before he jumped down to where the nearby human soldiers were entrenched. Surprisingly, there seemed to be no casualties among them and they all looked relatively unscathed apart from some visible battle fatigue. These soldiers were wearing advanced heavy armor that looked too sophisticated for them to be ordinary soldiers. Their command officer, a tall man who wore an unusual blue eyepiece, approached Raikoh/Katsuou. "My name is Captain Scott Mitch-" the officer was about to say before Raikoh/Katsuou interrupted. "Captain, sorry but I don't have much time. This might sound odd, but have you seen anything around here that look like they could be used as a demonic generator?" asked the Minamoto warrior. "Well, there is this one strange room that my team and I discovered when we got here. It was full of these strange looking crystals. We didn't have enough time to see what they exactly were though." said the captain as he motioned to a nearby hole in wall of the remnant of Temen-Ni-Gru. Raikoh/Katsuou quickly dashed inside and saw a fairly large room with a vaulted ceiling filled with  large, strange-looking crystals that were all connected by large wires. They glowed eerily in the dark as the Minamoto warrior ran deeper into the chamber. In the center, there was a large, crystal-like orb surrounded by floating, smaller versions of itself. "This must be a Neo-Generator." said Crimson King. Katsuou felt massive amounts of potential energy emanating from the crystal. More than enough needed for an Area-Sealing spell to seal off 150 square miles. Raikoh/Katsuou was about to draw out some scrolls from his coat when he realized that the armor he wore merged with his outfit and thus kept him from the scrolls. "Great, now what, it's not like they're gonna appear out of no where in my hands." complained Katsuou.

Suddenly, 12 scrolls materialized around Raikoh/Katsuou, 3 scrolls for each of the 4 Great Houses. "Even if you can't physically get to them, they'll appear if you call on them." explained Raikoh. The Minamoto warrior then placed the 12 scrolls around him, closed his eyes, and began chanting a long incantation. As he prepared the spell, the central Neo Generator sputtered and came to life, big arcs of demonic energy leaped from the generator and were absorbed by the scrolls. After a few minutes of focusing his ki into the spell, the 12 scrolls glowed brightly with the colors of the 4 Great Houses, signaling that the spell was ready. He opened his eyes and quickly plunged Crimson Malevolence into the ground. A huge circle of energy materialized around the Minamoto warrior as more and more energy from the central Neo Generator flowed into the scrolls. A huge shaft of light then shot upward, breaking through the ceiling and rising high into the sky above the city. When the shaft of light stopped, multi-colored sheets of energy then began to spread out and drop from the end of the light until it covered 150 square miles of the city, effectively sealing off that area inside and out, providing safety for the forces of good while spelling doom for the demons that were now trapped in that area. One more scroll materialized in front of Raikoh/Katsuou, he took it and placed it in the center of the 12 scrolls and muttered a quick spell.

"Well, this Neo-Generator seems to have a lot of power left in it, or it could just be producing excess power on its own. Either way, with all this energy, this spell should hold up for at least 72 hours, more than enough time to formulate a plan and cleanse this area." said Katsuou. He then ran back outside, observing the immediate area before walking over to the captain and his team. "Hey, do you know where Dante, the son of Sparda is?" asked Katsuou. "Well actually, my team and I were supposed to go and clear out the area around his shop: Devil May Cry. There's a neon sign above it. And surprisingly, it's pretty close by." answered the captain as he pointed towards something a few blocks away. Raikoh/Katsuou could see the faint glow of a neon sign. He decided that it would be best for all allies to regroup at DMC and formulate an effective strategy to quickly cleanse the area and fortify it enough for the coming invasion. Using Crimson Malevolence's fire powers, he launched a large signal fireball towards the air above DMC. Once it exploded, a huge flaming message materialized saying, "ALL FORCES AIDING THE SONS OF SPARDA, REGROUP AT DEVIL MAY CRY FOR NOW. IT WILL BE AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE THE DEMONIC HORDES SURROUNDING CITY ATTACK." Below the message was a large flaming arrow pointing down towards DMC. He then heard the sound of tires on gravel and turned to see 2 military Humvees and an APC approach. "That must be our ride, need a lift?" asked the captain. "No thanks, I'll 'walk' from here. See you there." replied Raikoh/Katsuou before he bounded high into the air with a charged spirit dash and began to quickly move across the nearby rooftops towards Devil May Cry. He quickly checked the flow of ki in the whole city, then sighed with relief. All the DMC forces were "safely" in the 150 sq mile sealed zone. As he closed in, he noticed a battle that was about to end. Dante, Vergil, what appeared to be an army of rebel demons, and another warrior who wielded a chinese sword were mopping up the remnants of a small blade army that attacked them. The Minamoto Warrior quickly jumped from his rooftop and joined the fray, easily dispensing the rest of the demons. He then started walking over towards Dante, recognizing his face's similarity with that of his brother.

"Hey Dante! I'm here to hel-" Katsuou was about to say before an overwhelming surge of pain suddenly coursed through his body. His wings quickly dissipated and returned to Soul Shrine. His weapons returned to their normal states, the glowing white of his hair receded back to the single white lock above his right brow, his white skin returned to its normal color, his aura dimmed until it was gone, and his blessed armor disappeared, returning his outfit to normal. The wounds that were held back by the Immortal Warrior form opened up, splattering Katsuou's blood against cracked pavement. He was about to collapse before he jammed Crimson Malevolence into ground, doing his best to keep from falling. He felt Raikoh's presence fade from his soul, returning to Soul Shrine. He then coughed up almost a half liter of blood. "Damn...guess this is my limit. If only...I could have...gone a little...further....Dante....Vergil....my...comrades........I'm sorry." Katsuou said before his grip on Crimson Malevolence slipped and he fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood. He could hear the captain's distant, fading voice. "Man down! Man down! Nolan, help me patch him up!" it said. "I......don't....wanna.....die." whispered Katsuou. He felt Soul Shrine slowly pulsing on his back before his vision faded and everything became dark.

There, that should make up for the lapse eh?

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

Here's my bad guy it's Jason's "dead" father.

Name: Damian Sinclaire better known as Furvus Angelus aka: the Dark Angel

    Age: 2,100

    Race: Demon

Physical Description: Human Form: Damian looks like an older version of Jason except with shoulder length white hair with a light beard and no scar. He wears the same clothes as Jason except the trench coat is red and black. Demon Form:

     Damian Sinclaire's Demon form.

Personality: Damian isn't the very evil being he once was but is still pretty evil.

Skills and Abilities: Damian has the strength and speed of a demon, he can summon spectral swords to aid him in battle, and he can sense powerful demons full or half blooded he can sense them. He is also a sword master.

Strengths: His abilities with a sword.

Weaknesses: All frontal attacks on him are useless the only way to hurt him is to land a blow on his back.

Weapons of Choice: Since his near death and the theft of Variel from his unconscious body Damian has used a great sword named Desperation.

Background: He is the father of Jason Sinclaire. He fought against Sparda once or twice and is the only one of Mundus's generals who could actually be called Sparda's equal.

Jason saw the message in the sky and changed his course for Devil May Cry slicing through and blasting away any and all demons in his way. He saw Dante, Vergil, a small army of rebel demons and another half demon fighting some blades. Jason jumped down from the roof he was on and landed close to Dante and started to hack away at the blades

Some were on the other side of the city a portal from the demon world opened up. Damian came through and closed it behind him he was in his demon form. " So you're still alive Jason. Good!" he said to himself and set off jumping from roof top to roof top.

Jason suddenly looked up from the blade he had just cut down "No! It can't be... He's supposed to be dead! I killed him myself!" Jason said to himself "Who's supposed to be dead?" asked Dante "My father, Damian Sinclaire better known as Furvus Angelus." said Jason and with that he took off jumping from roof top to roof top towards Damian.

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

Gorrath, Cordal and Hellboy were stuck together for a while. Demon after demon fell before their weapons (and fist in Hellboy's case). The demons just kept coming (which was no problem for the three fierce warriors).

After about an hour the beasts were pushed back and the three could sit down and get some rest. They ate some food from a deserted supermarket and went back on their way. As they walked through the streets, a large group of vampires jumped down from the ruined buildings and attacked the three.

Being so surprised, the three saught shelter in an old gun shop. Gorrath and Cordal grabbed some guns and and started firing at the vampires. The few bullets in the shop quickly ran out and Hellboy had the only gun that could cause a proper wound on the vampires.

After a short while, three persons in the end of the street started firing at the Vampires as well. It seemed that the bullets from their guns contained some sort of UV-fluid. The middle of the three even threw some UV-grenades. It didn't take long  for the three to take all of them out.

The middle guy (a "***" that was totally clothed in black, wore black shades, carried a fine load of guns, grenades, knives and even a sword that looked like a katana, but only far more advanced) walked in the gunshop and did the talking to HB, Gorrath and Cordal. "We were in the area for a couple of weeks and kept an eye on things. I go by the name of Blade and I am a half-vampire. I got all their strenghts, none of their weak spots except that sometimes blood might get me drooling a little. AND I can walk in the daylight. The girl in my company is Selene. She's a vampire herself, she can walk in the daylight too because she drank the blood of Alexander Corvinus, the father of all the immortals, wich means the vampires AND the werewolves. And my friend Michael Corvin over here, Selene's boyfriend just in case her pretty face jinxed you allready, is a vampire-werewolve hybrid. He can easily cut ten vampires AND ten werewolves down at the same time. So, now that the introductions are finished and the situation in this city has become really heavy, we decided to get out of our hiding spot and kick some ass our selves. We heard that the offspring of Sparda is in town right now, so we thought of joining them.

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

Satan and Mephisto were busy slashing down demons coming from every side. While fighting, Satan felt that Katsuou was leaving this world. He shouted to Mephisto "There is a soul on it's way to hell who's job here isn't finished yet! We shall combine our powers to resurrect him and his second conciousness back to full strenght!".

The two shouted "KATSUOU, RETURN FROM THE VALLEY OF THE DEAD AND RISE BACK TO LIFE!". As this order was given, Both Satan and Mephisto fell to their knees, exhausted from the use of the few powers they had left. A portal opened from the ground and being brought back to full life and power, Katsuou jumped out of it. He looked at Satan and Mephisto and helped them both back to their feet. "I thank you for bringing me back. Before I was killed, I tried to contact Dante. I will take you both with me to him. Being given back my full power even made me a lot stronger. I should be able to focus enough energy to teleport all three of us directly to the son of Sparda".

    Re: Devil's Exodus - RPG

Katsuou reached inside his coat and retrieved the necessary scrolls for the teleportation spell. As he prepared his spell, many thoughts raced through his mind. "Man, what just happened? One moment, I'm lying on the ground in a pool of my blood, next I felt...at peace, like I was returning to someplace, then I hear someone calling my name and I suddenly end up here. Well, I guess I owe these guys one if they brought me back. But man, being revived feels great! I feel as though I've gotten even stronger than before!" he thought. He looked over at the two that saved his life and soul. They were in no condition to fight if they were to back up Dante's position. Concentrating for a moment, Katsuou gathered what residual energy he could from the defeated demons in the area and redirected it into the two who brought him back. Satan and Mephisto glowed brightly from the brief flow of energy. "You two seemed tired from bringing me back, so I gathered what power I could from the immediate area to re-energize you guys." Katsuou explained. Satan and Mephisto simply nodded and waited for Katsuou to finish the spell.

"You had me worried for a moment, Katsuou. I thought we were going to lose you." said Raikoh's familiar voice.

"So Raikoh, what exactly happened.?" asked Katsuou.

"Your body's reaction to the full power of the Minamoto clan was even worse than I thought. Your soul slipped away too quickly. I attempted to use Soul Shrine to pursue your soul and keep it from passing on but your soul moved too quickly to catch. I almost gave up hope before those two standing next to you called your soul back to this world. Oh, and because of all this, you'll only have access to Soul Shrine as a weapon until you get back. Since your soul departed, it left behind your weapons and you have Soul Shrine right now because I used it to chase after your soul. Crimson King still hadn't recovered enough strength to use Crimson Malevolence to chase after you and Eversor doesn't house a soul at all so they were left behind. Don't worry about your weapons, Dante was very curious about the weapons you left behind and he decided to 'test them out.' We must hurry, your 'death' severely weakened the barrier we constructed at Temen-Ni-Gru and demons are seeping through into the safe zone we created." explained Raikoh.

"Alright then, almost finished." said Katsuou. The scrolls he placed around himself, Satan, and Mephisto in preparation for the spell began to glow brightly and resonated with power. Katsuou calmed his mind and listened to the flow of ki once more. He instantly recognized and located Dante's presence and zeroed in on his location. The scrolls sparked with power and levitated into the air as the spell neared completion. "Ok guys, prepare yourselves, the teleportation might feel a little, weird." Katsuou said before he slammed his fist in between the scrolls that marked the direction to Devil May Cry. The floating scrolls suddenly began to rotate quickly. More sparks of energy began to emit from the scrolls and the wind started to pick up. A swarm of flower petals then materialized from the scrolls and enveloped Katsuou, Satan, and Mephisto. With a loud boom, the petals dispersed and the three that stood there disappeared from sight.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the city... "Brother, the last of our forces have arrived." Algeo said to Pascicor. From the portal at the back of their forces emerged what looked like a group of infested artillery vehicles flanked by 2 legions of Elite Blade Frosts. "Yes, and that barrier protecting the remnants of our enemies appears to be weakening. Even with one of the Despairs killed and Shutendoji defeated, we must take this chance!" shouted Pascicor. "Yes brother, besides, Brutus and Effrenus appear to have run out of patience. I'll leave behind one of our legions to prepare another portal in case we need reinforcements or an escape route." said Algeo. "Escape? Well, fine. You were always the better tactician and it's just one legion. Let the invasion commence!" Pascicor yelled. Using his telepathic powers, Pascicor contacted Brutus, Effrenus, and the Despairs, literally shouting in their minds and giving the order to attack. As one, the vast demonic hordes surrounding the city charged, shaking the Earth even worse than an earthquake.
