This may seem a bit stupid but how about CJ from 8 Simple Rules he's pretty cocky and looks rather like Dante

Well then, the threads been going for a while, let's do a rundown of all the suggestions so far. And for my own amusement, I will split them into different groups, based on their level of awesomeness.

Group 1: The utterly perfect

Fools! There's no such thing

Group 2: The pretty damn good

Rueben Langdon (he knows the character inside out, has the actual voice, the actual movements and style, but.. I still think he doesn't look enough like Dante lol PS Dreamer, you have suggested Rueben over 10 times in the last 8 pages. Just something to consider  ), Teh Sakster 

Group 3: The meh-tastic passables (the maybe pile)

Jenson Ackles, Christian Bale, Eric Mabius, Criss Angel, Josh Holloway

Group 4: The pretty poor and the laughably bad (note the fact they would suck royally as Dante doesn't reflect at all on their acting abilities...except in the case of George W Bush)

Owen Wilson, Heath Ledger, Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Ioan Gruffudd, Steve Burton, John Stamos, Ryan Merriman, Rider Strong, Stephen Billington, Zak Effron, Antony Kiedis, Francois Petit, George W Bush, Nathan Fillion, Sean William Scott, Adam Baldwin, David Spade

 All I have to say is: Thank god you guys aren't the casting directors for the DMC movie

Lol, yes we can and we sure as hell better! Stop bad casting before it happens. Only YOU can prevent another Hitman-esque Vin Diesel act of stunt-casting. Maybe if there was a united voice for someone then utter disses like that wouldn't happen.

lol, nice one. I have to say, I don't know what nationality Dante is, but I'm pretty sure he's american. I mean, he doesn't even speak Japanease in the Jap. versions of the games.

To be hoenst, at this point I think Langdon is who'd I want for a live action Dante. Like I've said, I don't nessaccry think Langdon is the best game Dante, but for a live action movie I don't think they'd get anyone better.

well i would love to play dante he is an awesome hero! he is stylish like will smith!

sure im only 17 so i would only be able to play a young dante, leading up to dmc3 dante and so forth, as for vergil i think that the grown up one should be some crazy guy like hugh grant lmao

Everyone thinks they should play Dante. Early in this thread someone with the screen-name "Dantesgirl" said SHE should play Dante. Not impressed by suggestions like this.

I think this Langon guy would be a good choice for Dante.  I personally don't care who plays him, as long as they do a good job and have the look for it.
