Wow, this thread is DEAD!

Anyways, it just sucks that Metal Gear Online got shut off. They turned it off about 5 months ago I think. And I can't take it anymore... I'm going to die if I don't play it soon! But the reason they turned it off is because they "needed more room for the server to make the Online game for part 4" I guess... But whenever MGS4 comes out, I'm going to have to buy a PS3 and MGS4 right away. 'Cuz that's how bad I want to play Online mode (and also the regular story mode I guess. lol)

i only played part of 2 over my cousins house, i want to buy one but i am waiting for 4 to come out.

Actually Beo, MGO shut down April 2nd. 2 months ago. It feels like 5 though huh? I cant wait for MGO 2. I am having withdrawls...

Well, MGO is offline now. April was the cut off period. We will have to wait until MGS4 online comes out. As far as PS3 goes, I dont know yet how we can play online. I dunno what things we will need to go online.

I should have said these things a long time ago. Seeing how these arent brand spanking new info. But Konami has been tight lipped about MGS4 for most of '07 anyways. So here is a bit of info about MGS4.

Konami is currently thinking about making use out of the Sixaxis tilt function. Possibly shaking items from enemies and aiming a gun.

The voice actors for MGS4 will be many returning actors from previous MGS games:
Solid Snake: David Hayter (Yes! wouldnt have it any other way.)
Raiden: Quinton Flynn
Roy Campbell: Paul Eiding
Otacon: Christopher Randolph

These voice actor names were given in PSM. These are all that I know of right now.

Oh hell yeah. That trailer was sweet. Snakes actions are smooth and realistic unlike all the other MGS games. I like how you can steal their weapons and this time it's not stupid and there's not a floating box on the ground rotating around.  v.v' And about him pretending like he's a statue....that's something you'd see on Scooby Doo or something. But whatever works ya know? But after they leave and come back, they will (or better) notice that the extra statue is missing. They better not be that dumb.

But yeah, I love everything about that game! I'm glad they replaced the cardboard box with the barrel. I mean, what the hell could a cardboard box be doing out in the streets of a city that's being used as a battlefield? The OctoCamo or OctiCamo or whatever is genious, it's going to be fun playing with that thing. I have GOT to buy the PS3 right when MGS4 comes out. The thing that sucks is, I won't be able to play as much as I like if it releases in March. I won't be out of school until the end of May. I am ancious to play the regular game, but Online will be a blast though! But first, I have to get myself in shape of aiming in first person view again in the regular game if I want to take out all those online asses with headshots.

Who's going to be ditching school like I will be to play MSG4!? :D J/K

The gameplay vid that's newly up? Yeah it was amazing. It's just what I expected from Kojipro for MGS4. "OctoCam" I think it was called. But it really is genius, it will make the game that much sweeter. I like this idea much better than MGS3's face paint and camo. But if we didnt have the octocam, it would be hell trying to hide from enemies on the battlefield. There is basically "no where to hide", lol just like Hideo said in an old trailer video. Can't wait for the release! Which by the way will most likely release in March of '08.


Edit: Found the game cover for MGS4. Not too shabby, it's reminiscent of MGS2's cover. But I would rather have his pic be sharper and maybe a background instead of white.

I like the fact that they brought back CUS. They added Groznij Grad too. It looks really good. Now we can customize our soldier online. We can finally use a grapple and KO them! I dont like the new over the shoulder aim though. Complete with the rectangle and a dot in the middle, looks to SOCOM-esque. Cant wait too play it! Dunno which I wanna play more, the real game or online mode...
