Smoke was escaping from the car

 Isa detached her seat-belt and fall on the car's roof

"Oh damn it"

She was hurted on the forehead and her arm was covered of glass's fragments  .She came out from the car with difficulty and laid on the ground,put out of breath.

"Gosh..."

She turned her head and saw people running towards the car

It's not possible to be so unlucky!

She stood up,grimacing.

I know this district....hum...

She ran to the other side of the car,Dun was standing in front of her,wobbling sightly.She took his hand and ran in direction of the street further.

The infected were getting closer,Isa had to find a solution.She was almost mashing Dun's hand

Turn left then straight on,turn left again and finally turn right.

They arrived in front of a typical english building.

This is our last chance,I hope there is not infected.

She opened her pendentive, took the little key which was in and came into the building.She dashed towards the letter boxes and opened one with the key.

She heaved a sigh,the key was still there.She took this other key which was in a letter box and carried away Dun towards a wooden door and opened it then closed it quickly.

Exhausted,she leaned on the door,still crushing Dun's hand.

She heard noisy steps on the ground then nothing,they were in secure....

John started hyper ventilating. 

"Are you ok?" said the high pitched and frail female voice.

"I-I um, yea. I'm ok. What about yourself? You look like you seen a ghost."

Of course, John was referring to her light skin tone. 

"Oh, this is my natural skin color."

John managed a laugh. "I was just kidding."

"Oh." said the woman before she joined in the laughing. "That doesn't sound like a British accent, where are you from?"

"Me? I am from America. You from here?"

"Um... yea. It's kinda hard ya know. Looking at your home torn apart like this."

"Um I can't really relate... sorry."

Silence then took hold of the two survivors. John's eyelids became heavy and avoiding sleep became impossible. John awoke two hours later and the scene displayed through the windshield was a gas station.

I have the worst f***ing luck with gas stations. Thought John.

John could see the woman at an abandoned gas truck filling up her dispenser. John looked around careful to search for even the slightest sign of movement. There! Right behind the truck he could see movement.

"Hey! Watch out! Behind the truck!" yelled John

The woman turned around, she had headphones on. In the time she slipped them down around her neck, John could see a shadow coming around the back of the truck.

"Turn around!"

 It seemed like something right out of a horror movie. She turned so slowly then something jumped on her. She screamed.

it was starting to get dark and fog covered the air.james heared voices"hey watch out behind the truck!"the voice was familiar to james he just could not regonise it.he knew that the voice was coming.he pointed his sniper there and looked throught the scope.he could only see foggy charathers in gas station so he didnt know who were infected and who wasnt

suddenly somebody charged out of shadows james was going to push the tricker but a man blocked him then trying to steal the sniper

-its mine mine!!!!the man yelled

-screw you!james yelled and shooted the mans to his groins whit his pistol

After screaming, the woman looked up. The thing which jumped on her was nothing but a tabby cat. Both John and the woman laughed at the sight. The woman walked back to the car with the gas and started talking to John "I don't think we have had the pleasure of learning each other's names yet."

"Oh ya my name is Johnathan, but you can call me John."

"My name is Elizabeth, but I don't have a nick-name sorry."

John laughed. "Sorry? For what?"

"Oh well nothing."

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For making me smile. You have no idea how much it helps."

"Well in that case, you're welcome."  

"O and by the way, isn't kind of a safety hazard to have those headphones on while you are by yourself?"

"Yea, I think I'll keep em off next time."

"You won't have to."

"Why?"

"Cause I will  protect you."

These two survivors had barely known each other for a couple of hours, yet they had already formed a bond. It was a friendship bond, but there were endless possibilities.

"they didnt heare the shot"james thinked.james rosed to his feets and looked around."i think i better move on."james said to him self and started to move away

The hum of the engine could be heard as the two survivors started talking.

"So, where are you going?"

"I am going to the countryside and then I am probably going to just wait to be rescued."

"Really? Are you sure we should stay here?"

"Well how would we get out of the country?"

Elizabeth got cut off by John. "Stop the car! There's a guy out there, I know him."

Elizabeth floored the brakes. She backed up then quickly turned around and drove in the direction of the man. They drove up at the man's side.

"really? Have you heard any news from the mainland?"

John looked hopefully at Elizabeth then James. Elizabeth couldn't help but smile and she took a look at James. How did these two know each other? One was obviously military, but Elizabeth knew almost nothing about John. They didn't look like the typical pair of friends, but in an uncaring world they needed someone to care for them.

She arrived at the airport, after several bloody encounters with god-knows-what that was roaming the city. Stopping her stolen motorbike at the entrance of the airport, she walked around to examine the surroundings.

Nobody - or rather, nobody alive - was there. She grabbed on her new best friend, the fire axe, real hard; keeping her senses to the max. Seeing undeads in real life is not good at all.

"Hello?" She yelled, just to be sure if there is anyone there.
