Talons ever mooveing head snapped strait as he glanced at his aponent. Droping to one knee in a respectful bow. "this will be a great privalege to fight a worthy aponent as you Victer. I hope my Divine light dose not burn you as your darknes already consumes my pride.

remaining where he stood, Amma looked to Victer. "Signal when you are ready.. and start at the Trumpets." she then hastely walked away from the field.

"The privilege is mine," Victor said in reply to Talon's words. "I am honoured to face a Tengu in one-on-one combat." Straightening up, Victor met the Tengu's gaze, strangthening his aura of darkness, before raising his blade into the air. Even from down here, he could hear the collective gasps of awe from the stands. "I am ready."

Even after he heard Victors name being called Alien could not make itself go over to his window - it sat on his bed; it's arms wrapped tightly around his knees.

So there are people in this tornament who will kill... It shivered - but somehow it knew that anyone in this tornament may be capable of killing - even itself. If a contastant were against a ruthless opponent or had no way of winning without it - they would kill.

For this reason amongst others - it did not hold a grudge or any bad emotions for the one armed man and he had little doubt the man who had died would have killed before. He was prepared for his fate just like Alien had to be; no one knew who would fight each other or who would win.

The Trumpets sounded and the Tengu stode falwords swiftly. his running/walking was not verry fast. and he held a single sword. no shield. or any other off hand weapon. but when he was in strikeing range his attacking speed was more up to par. useing his clawed scaled feet aswell as the single Brawd sword. the Tengu was Verry athletick. and quick in mooveing its strikeing poses.

Somehow, I just knew he'd make up for the light armaments. Victor backpedalled away from Talon, swinging his blade in time with the Tengu's own in order to turn the weapon away while at the same time staying out of range of the cruelly clawed feet. When he found a gap in Talon's offense, Victor went on the counterattack, twirling his sword horizontally across Talon's torso while at the same time flicking his free hand and causing a spear of darkness to lance out from his shadow towards the Tengu's leg. Unless his opponent's tactics and skill warranted another strategy, Victor would attempt to debilitate him and end the match quickly with swift, decisive attacks.

Metting Victers blade with but a tap to slow the blade, the Tengu hopped, into a side ways summer sault leaping over the lance. and was forced to swich hands in mid flight to halt Victers sword with his own. "Admirable" he commented before landing in a Round hose kick. the Tengu reserveing his Divine abilitys... unles the legends on them is but a myth.

Talon had skilfully parried Victor's sword and avoided the spear of darkness. The Shadow Warper, however, was not so lucky. He tried to sidestep the roundhouse kick coming his way, but was caught just as he swerved to the side, and the Tengu's razor sharp talons rended the flesh of the boy's cheek. Victor roared in agony and barged away from his adversary, holding his free hand against the wound as the crowd's booing got steadily louder. They expected much more from the Shadow Warper. Still, he wasn't worried. He'd give them a show to remember... Suddenly, in retaliation to the injury, Vic extended his left hand with a snarl of fury and a searing blast of shadowfire spewed forth, roaring towards the Tengu. It seemed Victor would have to take the fight to a high pitch right from the get go. He could not allow Talon to gain the upper hand so early.

The Tengu was not exspecting. such an attack and raised its fre arm, the dark flames burning away some of the feathers. singeing its armor. and it hopped backward.s. flashing a light coler and the flames exstinguished on it. and useing its other free hand. swept it infront of it. causeing Golden fethers to soar out in a fan shape like Arrows.,

Victor took a moment to focus his power. A platform of energy formed below his feet and launched him high into the air. He backflipped away from Talon as the feathers soared harmlessly past him. As he caught sight of his adversary, Vic extended his hand and fired a narrow beam of shadow energy straight at the Tengu. This was swiftly followed by a volley of shadow darts as Vic hit the ground, rolled to his feet and charged, swinging his sword in a vicious horizontal arc.

Talon was overwelmed by the drts, his blade smashing into the majority of them, but he had no time what so ever to defend from Victors final attack, seaing the end of the match comeing, the Tengu closed its eyes and hoped to hell this wasent going to hurt too mutch.

As Victor approached, his blade ready, the end of the match seemed inevitable... until he stopped short of Talon and lowered his sword. Murmurs of confusion could be heard from the crowd.
"No... I will not end the match here..." Victor took a few steps back, giving Talon a chance to recover. "Take up your sword and let's resume the fight, Talon. This time, I suggest you don't hold back..." With that, he continued backwards and prepared for the Tengu's next move.
