I think that Either Cloud from FF-VII:AC or Sparda is the best swordsman. I'm gonna have to say Vergil isn't really as good as Sparda himself though.(Isn't it obvous?) Vergil is of course better than Cloud,but it's because Vergil is half demon,but Cloud is still better at technique though,and Vergil can do stuff like "Rapid Slash" and all of that because he's half demon.
