The next game needs 2 have an apocalypse of some sort. Yes all of them had major destruction, but only to one city or one island, nothing global, and that is whats needed. And in the next game THE APOCALYPSE should occur. What better test for the demon slayers than to fight every demon from every entry in the series lead by Mundus. Yes, Mundus needs to come back along with Virgil, but not together. Maybe with the occurance of the apocalypse Virgil was allowed to return to earth so as playn Nero you would have to Virgil to keep the sword, but Nero wouldnt know it was Virgil and at the end of the fight Dante would appear and the brothers would be startled to see each other. During the confusion Virgil would end up with Yamato, leaving Nero to eventually gain his own devil form. But the game could also introduce a new guy born as an half angel half human who, as like the twins, looked human till he triggered. He could have one wing have sort of bird like legs and he could wear silver, black, and blue armor. From there different parts of the world could be played by different characters each with their own stories that could intertwine. And Neros arm could be explained as him being the third son of Sparda but as a baby, Nero showed no sign of demonic power so they gave him to the humans to be raised with a semi normal life, but Sparda infused a chunk of power into Neros right arm to give him a fighting chance if demons were ever to find him when he was older. Maybe that could shake things up...Any responses are appreciated.

I like your idea for a game but the one thing I don't like is the half demon half angel thing that seams more like an rpg kind of idea but you never know I thought that Pandora was going to be stupid once they announced it because its a suitcase now that I saw it in action and I used it I really liked it.The other thing is to make it a world wide problem would mean that they would have to make it a long game and you are forgetting that Kobayashi wanted to make the game a lot better but capcom toled him there were restrictions at the last minute so i don't think they would let him do something like that but don't get me wrong I would love a long game that would last me longer then just a day and I would love them to go into more detail's on the story not like they just did with DMC4 with all the plot holes.Lastly I don't think Vergil would be surprised to see Dante since he knows Dante would be there and Same goes for Dante when he first saw nelo in DMC1 he didn't look surprised he just said "I didn't expect to see you in a place like this" and in the manga Vergil shows up in code: Vergil and he sees Dante he wasn't surprised thats why I don't think that they would be surprised to see each other.But I do like all your ideas they are good and I think I might actually like a game like this if they made it like this it might be cool to play it and go to a lot of different places new areas lots of bosses lots of weapons it could be really good.

That's an intriguing idea Knight. It's doubtful but I like the idea of Dante, Vergil, and Nero working together and being able to play as all three. Being able to see each character's side of the story would be cool. All the other games and everything that has happened so far could all be just one piece of a big puzzle...

I dont like the idea of bringing another new character in the mix though. I think it would complicate things too much. We have a great group of already established characters and we can go from there.

Very good points. Its been a while since I played DMC1 so I forget their exchange of words during their confrontations. As to the angel thing, yeah it's a little rpg'ish, i know, but I'd like to see an Angel/Hell Knight. But it's gonna drive me out of my mind until DMC 5 so I can find out what the hell is the deal with nero. Is he related to Sparda? I know he has the blood but how? And how does Dante have devil arms too? Trish commented on how Nero had a devil arm just like the many Dante had.TO MANY QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED!!

Yeah it would get confusing. Just thinking out loud though. But who said they were working together? It would be more interesting to see each of them work their own angles.

Yea they need to answer a lot of questions all DMC4 did bring more questions more and now we need to wait till DMC5,another anime on the game, more mangas or comics, or the psp game so we can get some of these answers.

If you think about it Nero could be Virgils son. Virgil was half demon right? so wouldnt that make Nero 1/4 demon which is kinda what he is, considering he only has a demon arm and NEEDs the sword to DT?

Nero is too old to be Vergil's son. Dante is barely into his 30s in DMC4, and Nero is into his 20s, which means that Vergil would have had to had sex with someone when he was TEN to be Nero's father. Very unlikely, since that's when their mother was killed. Sanctus does say that Nero carries the blood of Sparda, so it's likely that Nero is some long separated descendant of the big guy himself. Therefore, he's not directly related to Dante and Vergil, but he's still a descendant of Sparda. But yes, Nero needs Yamato in order to DT, or an extremely stressful situation, which is how he DTed before Yamato flew to him.

Hey has anyone realized that Neros and Keries' relationship is very similar to the Tale of Eve and Sparda(not sure if I got her name right)? Nero, just like sparda, will probably end up sacrificing his own existence along with Kerie to stop Mundus once and for all. It just makes a lot of sense to have the series end like that. The whole mess started with Sparda and Eve and will be ended in similar situation involving Nero and Kerie. Anyone else have that strange feeling like the series is coming full circle to the tale of Sparda?

I dont think that Nero will end the series the way Sparda has started it. But I do see some siimularities there.

Edit: Did I say the visuals were perfect? My bad I forgot about the horrid shadowing. Other than that the visuals looked good. Capcom really should have done a better job than that.

Epilougue 2: "Its A Customer With The Password" dont that tell you something i mean.. a password for what? i think IF they make a devil may cry 5 its gnna start off with virgil coming back into the human world,mundus ocming back from hell,and nero meeting dante again, along with virgil and IF again they make a number 5 youd have to beat mundus and the demon bosses from previous games, ocmbining all 3 of there powers to get teh true power of sparda GAWD THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but mundus and vergil are dead. do you think theyll keep Nero as a character in the series or do you think theyll go back to all Dante

1.Yes i just remmebered viril'd dead xD  2. Mundus isnt, jsut got sent back to hell and yes i do think nero will stay in as a character and meet up with dante again but i think dante pwns more and ope hat you use dante more in the next game if they make a next game

yea id like to see an all dante again but it seems like itd be a waste if they just got rid of nero i mean they worked hard on the arm mechanics. i think well be playing as him again. i dont know if im excited about that
