My friend tells me level doesn't mean as much as teamwork amongst your players. In other words... strategy. Formulate a strategy and modify it accordingly depending on your battle situation.
In my personal opinion, if you made that far with expeience like that, odds are you're ready. Not that it matters. If you die, you die. No amount of help is gonna change that. My best advice to you is experience. Fight him continuously to find his weaknesses and when you retry, take the motherf***er out!
Example: In Kingdom Hearts, I fought Kurt Zisa. I can't beat him with glide. I moved too slow and died. When I got superglide I knew I hit jackpot. I went back and wasted his ass. Riku and Sephiroth. They fight in patterns. They attack you a certain number of times with something, use some badass move and taunt you etc. I learned that from playing. Cause I garuntee you, gamefaqs won't give you the in depth experence you need to pawn these badass bosses.
FFX: My friend figured this out. I see hundreds of Yu Yevon strategies, but they all require all this time and effort etc. It ain't worth it. By the end of the match your eyes are burnin' from all that reading and you got a headache with your fingers screaming from all the button mashing.
My friend takes him out in two simple steps.
Zombie
Pheonix down his ass.

Iron Chef...
