Could you tell me what that glich is? 'Cause I'm also using codebreaker codes 'cept mine doesn't let use fireballs untill I beat the game & even if I beat the game with it, it doesn't show the graphics of the other weapons attacks though they still work. For example the Air Raid move, the Inferno attack, The Meteor attack. They all still work except the meteor one and it is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to beat Nelo III with the Sparda sword, save and go to mission 18. Go to the menu screen and equip ifrit, and go into the portal in the middle of the room. Then go into the portal to the right, when you end up in the water press select and go to reset. Load game ( The mission saved after you beat Nelo III ) and press R3. The sparda glitch should have worked.

As I said before, beating DMD mode for the first time gets you the Super Dante costume...it doesn't matter how many times you beat it after that. I beat DMD mode over 7 times and you earn nothing after Super Dante.

    Miakee Sorrow:
Well how is it that Dante has Rebellion in DMC2 if he doesnt have it in DMC1 but then he has it in DMC3

Dante has his old Rebellion sword in DMC 2, which I may add was a sword made by Sparda, because at the end of DMC 1, Trish uses the Sparda. And he uses the Rebellion in DMC 3 because that takes place before DMC 1 and 2, and Dante didn't get the Force Edge till after he beat Vergil. Dante then used the Force Edge because it was actually his fathers sword, the famous one, of course he didn't realise its true form or power till he merged the amulets. Vergil, I think, knew all about what happens when a member of the Sparda family merges the amulets! I.E the Force Edge changes to its true form of the Sparda. Which is why Vergil was so intent on getting into the Demon World to claim the power.

Further, I think the whole only being able to DT with your battle against Mundus, is very in character for Dante. The quest for power destroyed Vergil, so Dante only uses it when he absolutely must. Dante, though can change into his fathers form (DMC 2), but, when he possesses the Sparda he has ALL the power of his dad. Because the sword is charged with it because Sparda sealed his power away when he beat Mundus. Only a member of the Sparda family can use it though, as Trish can't in DMC 2, she just glows yellow.

The Sparda is a brilliant sword, not only does it dish out damage galore, it also has such a wide arc of damage that Dante can inflict. In other words when he swings that bad boy, everyting nearby gets hit.

I sincerely hope the Sparda is in DMC 4. I really wouldn't mind using that sword again in a new game.

Re: is the sparda sword useless

    The glitch works.

    Here it is again:

You have to beat Nelo III with the Sparda sword (If you are starting from scratch you can kill Nelo III with any Devil Arm), save and go to mission 18. Go to the menu screen and equip ifrit, and go into the portal in the middle of the room. Then go into the portal to the right, when you end up in the water press select and go to reset. Load game ( The mission saved after you beat Nelo III ) and press R3 when you gain control of Dante. The sparda glitch should have worked.

Note: If you switch your weapon after the glitch, the glitch will no longer work.

Re: is the sparda sword useless

It gives the Sparda sword Devil Trigger, Air-Hike, Air Raid, Vortex LV 1 / LV 2, and every other move that Alastor has.

    Legendary Sparda:
It gives the Sparda sword Devil Trigger, Air-Hike, Air Raid, Vortex LV 1 / LV 2, and every other move that Alastor has.

You can also use Sparda's version of Meteor LvL 1/ LvL 2.

Re: is the sparda sword useless

Through out the whole game it pretty much is useless until you get to the very end. after it turns into that big Zanbato sword then it becomes pretty cool and more powerful

Re: is the sparda sword useless

The Sparda sword is underrated because it doesn't allow the player to DT until mission 22.

It has long range, it is the strongest Devil Arm, and it is very effective...but many people choose Alastor over it.

Re: is the sparda sword useless

With the exeption in Mission 22, fight with ether the Alastor or Ifrit or Yamato devilarm and fill your DT gauge. After that, equip the Sparda Sword. Then re-equip ether Alastor or Ifrit or Yamato again, you'll notice that the DT energy you accumulated earlier is gone!
