It depends on the server you pick,exapmle if you take the original server it might take forever to gain level,there are many servers that can help you at your start,example a server can offer you:expX5 ,easy lvl up,some millions to start,rare weapons or rare potions and items.

Yeah the highest lvl is 20!!!! It takes quite a few missions and quests to get there!!! In factions my elementalist didn't lvl up to 20 till she got to the mainland!!!!! And that took quite some work to get there with only henchies at my side!!!!! My monk is currently at lvl 18 and she just got on the mainland!!!!! Shing Jea Island (Where you start off in factions) has alot of quests and missions to do so I always do those first before going on the mainland cuz the mainland has hoards of lvl 24 monsters!!!!

Edit: Actually Hustla the servers have nothing to do with how much XP you gain!!!! It depends on what the quest and mission are!!! Arena net and the makers of gw made sure that the servers would be the same!!!!

Ok, another thing I've been hearing is that in order to play as an Assassin I have to buy Fractions, and then link it together or something like that with the origional Guild Wars in order to play as one in the regular servers? Is that right?

yes it does,at Lineage i upgrade my two elfs(high elf/bowman,high elf/spellsinger) to lvl 52 and 48 in 1 hour

In order to be an assassin you need the factions game!!!!! BUT you don't need to have the original one (Prophecies) to play it!!!!! Although buying both (which is what I did) is better!!! You don't need to buy both to understand the story!!!!! But if you do buy both and link them together you can transfer your characters from prophecies to factions and vice versa!!!!! Which means that you have more things to do!!!!! Alot of people only bought factions first, and then they go and buy prophecies!!!!

You can't do that because you need an access key to get in!!!! If they catch that you burnt it on a CD or DVD they will ban you from it!!! They're very strict and have a strict agreement!!!! Although you could most likely buy an account from the Official Online Store!!!
