capcom has other games to release right now(re5) n dmc 4 was recently released. so no dmc5 news until 2009.

Also still keep Ebony and Ivory and shotgun and an explosive gun for Dante and also make awesome swords for him like the one you get in Devil May Cry on mission 4 where you have to put it in the statue and also bring back  the 'Alastor' sword

I sooooo hope they make a Devil May Cry 5, still keep Trish, Lady and Dante in it, but focus on Nero and Kyrie. Also still keep Ebony and Ivory and shotgun and an explosive gun for Dante and also make awesome swords for him like the one you get in Devil May Cry on mission 4 where you have to put it in the statue and also bring back  the 'Alastor' sword

i dont think that smt like that will happen.maybe he will use only one n that one will only serve the plot(like sparda sword).but most devil arms look like its other.the gloves (beowulf,ifrit n gilgames) n the swords (rebellion,alastor,vendeta n merciless) work the same way.n the special ones (lucifer,nevan,agni n rudra n cerberus) r always unique.but except of rebellion n sparda(n yamato) none of the others helps theplot of the game.thats why they always make new ones.

weapon wize yes u r correct. They just ressurect old ones with a new style to it, exception of a few very unique ones ( I Hate Nevan) but anyway, why not make the plot of 5 a sort of super new weapon... ehh that sounds kinda corny dont it...

well, the use of 5 unique weapons that help the plot is good for the next 3 dmc games not only the fifth one.in order to use them in only one game,they should raise the playing hours of the game above 4-5 than it is now.which means more missions n stuff.hm.not a bad idea.

True, but who knows what Dante's aresenal could be next time around. You might be dying to have the gilgamesh gauntlets. In DMC 2 it was just sucky variations on the rebellion.

thats why even capcom say that dmc2 was a dissapointment.they r probaby not goin to make the same mistakes again.but id like to see different gauntlets that control other elements like ice,electricity or darkness.maybe they could make smt that if u like u can give ur weapons the appearance of similar ones from the previous games.but the original ones should be different.

What if they have an upgrading system like RE 4. You can choose the element of your gauntlets and other things and essentially create your own weapons. Not just elements but other aspects of the weapons.

that would be awesome.it reminds a bit the dt system in dmc2.so they just use an old idea on a different aspect n they have a great addition.it also reminds a bit of the ff7:dc gun system.

I have the best idea for a Devil May Cry game. They should have the big city where Dante lives and works in, and he takes up random odd jobs like he usually does (GTA style!). They should have all the characters (Dante, Lady, Nero, Vergil, Trish & maybe Lucia), and different cities (Dante's city, Fortuna, etc.), and it should have heaps of weapons, attacks, missions, demons, and a kickass storyline. No plot holes included. Anyone like my idea?
