Ok i got a few questions for people that actually know what their on about when it comes to monster hunter. I've just started to play this game, and i currently have Assasins Dagger and velociprey armour, i am only up to 2/5 on 2 star missions. Is it worth upgrading my Dagger or should i just use a Large sword? If i should use a Large sword what is better, Iron or Bone??

And when it comes to my armour is there any need to get better armour just yet and when it comes for me to get better armour what armour to do reconmend?

dude get a geat sword and bone is better well armour doesnt realy do much but get lots of gunner stuff it makes you look cool.

Ok yeh now i'm up to 4 star quests. I dont use the gun at all, i dont like it. I havr got my self a great sword and i've worked hard on it, Its now a "Wyvren's Jaw" the um, ohw hast it called, *think, think* the one before the golem blade, thats it the Dragon Agito lol, its got over 500 attack power i'm pretty sure so its strong, i own those stupid Kut-Ku's. I got Battle armour on right now, i am going to get Kut-Ku mail and the arm plates. maybe a Kut-Ku Taset too.

i use a arbadalest or big bow gun i got all the cool guner armour i think im on the sixth star or mabye 5th but i cant get past this part

were i gotta kill a kut-ku and theres a boncha velociprey interfearing

Hey what kind of armour is it? and i dont mean gunner armour. Yeh i'm still using the Dragon Agito but i have changed my armour, i have Kut-Ku plate and arms and plan on getting the Tasset very soon. The quests only go up to 5 stars then you have urgent quests.

What kind of weapon is arbadalest?? ( great sword etc ) and you say you have to kill a Kut-Ku but velo are in ya way?? If you kill him in the nest, area 5 of forest and hills then i'm past you =p  Its pretty easy. Just bring your own potions and a pitfall trap, trap tools and nets. using pitfall traps is a huge help when vsing wyvrens.

I got a Golem Blade now its attack power is in the 640's i think... not sure, soon i will have a posion battle axe, i heard that its a popular choice for first time rathalos hunters.

Hiya!! Ok its attack power is actually 624... But when i upgrade it it will be 672!!! YEAH!!

The poison axe has an attack power of 224 but has poison and the Poison battle Axe has an attack power of 238, i know not much of a jump but it has full sharpness and poison effect and prevents me from being poisoned, nice...

hey man its not hard to get stuff to upgrade the serpent blade, i just went and to see if i could and i can. I can make the ultimate serpent blade, ( When you can't upgrade it any further ) It has an attack power of 624 like the Golem Blade but instead it has very good sharpness. I might make it because its sharpness serves well.

man i dont know what your on ab out, silverfang blade? white velop scales? Dude the monster hunter i'm talkin bout is "Monster Hunter" for PS2. not monster hunter G or what ever other ones there are. so yeh i cant help u there. I am up to 5 star quests, in th em so far i have done most of the easy ones like gendrome Redrux, fang of the iodrome, and sum hard ones like basious:unseen peril, attack of the rathalos, catch a rathalos andslay the rathian, but i didn't save it.. because i was muckign around to see where she starts off and how hard it is etc.
