Devil May Cry News

Reviews, Updates and More!

Firstly, before I get started, I want to hugely apologize for the major lack of updates here at Sons of Sparda. But hopefully starting now we can finally get the news and updates back on track, huh? So enough of me ranting, lets get to the good stuff:

Devil May Cry 4 reviews have recently been flooding the internet, and what more reliable source than IGN? IGN UK have recently reviewed the newest installment to the Devil May Cry series and have scored it a nice 9/10. Interested in reading the review? Go here, PSU have also reviewed it at a nice score of 8/10.

I am awaiting some video reviews of Devil May Cry 4 to pop-up so I can post them on up too.

Anyway, I plan on scanning the entire "Art of the Devil" book on up and adding those to the Gallery and I also plan to add a lot more things to the gallery. And get it more organized and I plan to allow comments again to be posted, of course, I will moderate the comments to make sure your talking purely about the art and not just having random chats.

IGN have posted up a video review on it's site somewhere, I'll find the link if it's needed, but I don't like IGN videos, especially because they take ages to load. I was watching the IGN video review and it literally took about an hour to buffer.

whoa whoa whoa ign? cmon now theyve made some huge mistakes in there reviews. id have to say gameinformer is a lot more reliable. but thats just me. idk if its around anymore but there was a UK review out for DMC4 on youtube and they thought that there was only the two starting difficulties and they said the puzzles were to hard it was pretty funny they were really complaining about the disappearing platforms in the forest.

Then it is quite clear you haven't seen the review. Meh, I found it rather reliable anyway. But that review complaining about the puzzles being too hard? PFF That is funny xD

Uh, a little late for that now. 0_0' The PS2 is pretty much dead now anyway, the developers are making half-arsed franchise games for the PS2 now which use to make brilliant releases and score great reviews up until now. Really, the new NFS doesn't even have free-roam, Madden is just making the same game over and over again, Smackdown vs Raw is basically a cut-down of the other versions, Guitar Hero is just ugly and doesn't even have a Les Paul guitar controller, yet alone any good songs, Ratchet and Clank isn't even out for the PS2 anymore, and the new THPS games are just horrible in pretty much every aspect. F*in' next gen gaming...

Anyway, back on topic, I was very close to buying DMC4 on the Xbox360 but I am still a little indesisive whether or not I should buy it immedietely or wait 'til my b'day to get a PS3. But Hell, glad to see that people like it, maybe next time they could probably move beyond DMC2 and stop making prequels.

the ps2 may be dead but if they make DMC4 for it they would still sell plenty of games, to those of us that dont have a xbox 360 or ps3
