Dmc4 has Nero in it, but the story seems to revolve around Sparda and his sons, so i guess if the story line has Dante and sonething to do with Sparda. . . i guess i can accept a new character . . . but man Dante was starting to become such a powerful Demon!!!

K guys this is what i think, they never kill main characters off cos thats just stupid and dante is a bit SUPER AMAZING, secondly the theory on vergil acting as dante is a good one, thirdly the pics look awesome so tht lightens things up a bit, but most of all think of this... TWO MAIN CHARACTERS!!!! THINK WHAT^ THEY COULD DO WITH THAT! OMG ITS AMAZING!! The later games could use a 2 character rotation style like Onimusha Dawn of Dreams or just a standard "switch at key points in the story" OR... They could be allies, but star as the main characters in simultaneous games..... THINK HOW AWESOME THAT WOULD BE!! One game we could play as the legendary son of sparda and have our little fancy pants sidekick help along the way and another game we cud get a bit athletic and pretty and have uncle Dante to turn to when things get a bit scary! I think that wud be pretty awesome, dont u?

1. Dante kills all the guys in Nero's gang but not Nero

2.It would explain Nero's extreme Danteish likeness.

3.At the end of Devil May Cry Dante says to Mundus

of course Dante is the good guy! Nero was the one to undo some seal of Sparda's spells...so...maybe Nero is the bad guy maybe and eventually join Dante's mercenary job (well, that's my opinion). And Dante is still be (!).....never mind it....i'll keep it to myself...>:)

I think Nero thinks what he's doing is good and then Dante trys to make Nero understand but Nero keeps going. And then he realises that Dante's right when Dante tells him that he is his son, but it's to late then. Thats how I picture it.

Basically nero has an awesome arm that does pretty awesome stuff and in the trailer if u listen to there convos nero says "this arm is destined to send guys like u to hell" (or sumin like tht) and then dante says "give it back and i might let u live" suggesting that the arms power belongs to dante, maybe some freak incedent happend and some of dante's power was given to nero or maybe nero has a weapon of dante's like beowulf or ifrit and he thinks its his normal arm, but basically just so u know DANTE WANTS SOMETHING BACK THAT NERO HAS! does nero know he has it? maybe theres confusion on both sides, maybe its another case of some guy tricking both sides again like DMC3? Although its good to have plot extension and new characters i hope they do make 2 versions of the game, one story played as dante and one as nero, although nero might be dantes son lol, but to show both angles of the story. After all capcom have proven how duel stories work look at resi 4, that was dont so well, shame about the laxed vergil mode in dmc 3 SE, but taking dante out of playability is like when they took snake away from metal gear solid. i just hope the contract does not fall through and we get to see DMC 4 on the 360 as well as the over blown PS3.

vergil acctualy isnt stronger then dante because if he was how come he got his ass kicked cause he basicaly dies in the end of the game cause what happens is vergil gets the force edge dante and him fight dante kicks his ass vergil falls off a cliff and dante goes to the human world and if you defeat 100 enemys in the demo sequence you see a surprise ending vergil is still alive but he fights mundus and then it goes back to dmc 1 and then vergil dies as nelo angelo
