Despite it being awesome, when I went to vote, DMC was seriously losing, Come on people! get ya pals to vote in too! I did! Dante can't be beaten by a blue hedgehog!

Sonic is at a major advantage though, because of how old it is. Plus you don't even have to play the games to know what Sonic is, because of the TV series and im pretty sure there are quite a bit of childrens books and things like that. But Devil May Cry has been out a much shorter time, and the only things that are Devil May Cry are the games and so far I think two books. So I kind of figured that Sonic would win. lol

well actually think about it Sonic Will mostly get the kids vote because of how some of the kids parents wont let them play something like DMC so actually DMC may have the edge because of the older kid's votes

Are you freaking kidding me? This is like comparing Apples and Oranges. Sonic should go head-to-head with Mario or something like that. This voting is so stupid...they can't even put the right games to the right genre's.

Sonic is old school..the only advantage it can have over Devil May Cry is that is has young fans only...Dante's team is the next generation. I think nowadays no one even plays Sonic games except when they are ridiculously bored.

I spend allot of time on the site that has the poll going. I've seen contests like this before, I knew from the start DMC was going to be massacred. But as things often go on GameFAQs, the winning series is going to be Final Fantasy, so don't take it too hard, DMC would have lost eventually anyway.

No, Final Fantasy is going to win. See, they have devisions. Two Games each day. On that day Sonic won against DMC. So it moved up to the next round.

Final Fantasy is going to win, it and it's characters win 90% on contests like this on GameFAQs. I think the only year When a Final Fantasy character DIDN'T win the "Best Character Ever" poll is the year they banned Cloud and Sephiroth from the Poll. Because it wasn't fair to have them because they always win. They needed to give the other games a chance.

I love DMC but Final Fantasy is much more popular game, and Sonic is just a great kids game.

i think we got retarted people in the world if they voted sonic instead of DMC or final fantasy because what so cool about sonic ok maybe he is a blue hedgehog that runs really fast and talks but he cant beat an immortal thats 20 years old and part demon  with long gray hair in a red coat with 2 long pistols and a big @$$ sword that can lift up an 18 wheeler and is crazy enough to walk into a speeding 18 wheeler u can't top that

hi im daniel i am the best and bigest fan thou i like to draw sonic im good but dantehas to much detail well im real god with drawing sonic and yes i realy am the biggest fan i was hocket i used to say aaaa this is geting boreing but like 5 min later im like this boss got to have a weekness lol im ubsest thou im a real softy realy sept i dont have demon in me im kinda dante inside a freewill smartass....well yeah so im new well i had to join um p.s. sorry for such a long comment
