Orbs are usually found by destroying enemies or objects, they are, however, sometimes found lying on the ground or hanging from a wall.

Green orbs:
When collected, these immediately shatter and bless Dante with their life giving power, recovering his lost health.

Red orbs:
Essentially the currency of Devil May Cry.

White orbs:
These hellish orbs shatter immediately upon collection and bless Dante with a recharged DT gauge.

Holy Water:
Highly expensive, this globe of blessed water, when held above the head and shattered, deals massive damage in a radius around the character.

DEVIL HEARTS

All devil hearts increase some aspect of the DT state.

Electro heart:
Dante starts with this, Lucia collects it in Mission 5, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with Electric powers.

Frost Heart:
Lucia starts with this, Dante collects it in Mission 16, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with frost power, temporarily freezing and stunning the enemies.

Flame Heart:
Dante collect this in Mission 7, Lucia collects it in Mission 5, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with the fires of Hell.

Aerial Heart:
Found in mission 2, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with the power to effectively use their wings, granting flight.

Quick Heart:
Dante collects this in Mission 4, Lucia collects it in Mission 8, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with increased speed.

Offense Heart:
Dante collects this in Mission 5, Lucia collects it in Mission 4, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with enhanced offensive powers, more damage and better range.

Healing Heart:
Dante collects this in Mission 11, Lucia collects it in Mission 3, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with heightened healing powers, recovering their health faster.

Chrono Heart:
Dante collects this in Mission 15, Lucia collects it in Mission 11, this heart blesses the Character's devil state with the power to halt time during an attack.

Aqua Heart:
Dante cannot collect this, Lucia collects it in Mission 7, this heart blesses Lucia's devil state with advanced swimming capabilities and the ability to attack underwater.
